Exsultet, Praeconium paschale

R ejoice heavenly powers! Sing choirs of angels!
Exult, all creation around God’s throne!
Jesus Christ, our King is risen!
Sound the trumpet of salvation!

Rejoice, O earth, in shining splendor,
radiant in the brightness of your King!
Christ has conquered! Glory fills you!
Darkness vanishes forever!

Rejoice, O Mother Church! Exult in glory!
The risen Savior shines upon you!
Let this place resound with joy,
echoing the mighty song of all God’s people!

It is truly right
that with full hearts and minds and voices
we should praise the unseen God,
the all powerful Father,
and his only Son, our Lord Jesus Christ.

For Christ has ransomed us with his blood,
and paid for us the price of Adam’s sin
to our eternal Father!

This is our Passover feast,
when Christ, the true Lamb, is slain,
whose blood consecrates the homes of all believers.

This is the night
when first you saved our fathers:
you freed the people of Israel from their slavery
and led them dry-shod through the sea.

This is the night
when the pillar of fire
destroyed the darkness of sin!

This is the night
when Christians everywhere,
washed clean of sin
and freed from all defilement,
are restored to grace
and grow together in holiness.

This is the night
when Jesus Christ broke the chains of death
and rose triumphant from the grave.

What good would life have been to us,
had Christ not come as our Redeemer?

Father, how wonderful your care for us!
How boundless your merciful love!
To ransom a slave you gave away your Son.

O happy fault, O necessary sin of Adam,
which gained for us so great a Redeemer!

Most blessed of all nights,
chosen by God to see Christ rising from the dead!
Of this night scripture says:
“The night will be clear as day:
it will become my light, my joy.”

Scalfari and Bergoglio: Close collaborators united in a common cause

Malemp comment: "the techique of infamy is to invent two lies and o get people to argue heatedly over whichone of thems is true" Ezra Pound ... this is the Marxist dialectic applies in politics and now in religion"

Sólo Díos basta comment:
Francis is deeply influenced by Peronism, where confusion, muddle and incompatible ideas are not accidental by-products, but rather deliberate objectives and key assets in running a Regime.

Roberto de Mattei su Il Foglio: Carlo Maria Martini (Italian Jesuit), like Karl Rahner (German Jesuit ), believes that the mission of the Church is to open the doors of salvation to all, including those who deviate from faith and Catholic morality.

"The way of the Church is not to condemn anyone for eternity"

Edward Pentin ended his article with a rhetorical question:
Why does the Pope continue to speak to someone such as Scalfari, and discuss such sensitive subjects with him, when he knows he is unreliable but likely to report his words without reference to a recording or transcript?
The answer is entirely obvious; Jorge Mario Bergoglio (aka Pope Francis) is a dyed-in-the-wool modernist, the same of which Pope St. Pius X wrote:
None is more skilful, none more astute than they, in the employment of a thousand noxious arts; for they double the parts of rationalist and Catholic, and this so craftily that they easily lead the unwary into error; and since audacity is their chief characteristic, there is no conclusion of any kind from which they shrink or which they do not thrust forward with pertinacity and assurance. (Pascendi Dominici Gregis 3)
The Holy Father, Pius X, went on to warn that the activities of the modernists are indeed “well calculated to deceive souls.”
And so it is with Pope Francis.
We’ve seen this act before, folks. As I wrote in a recent post, this pope has a history of leveraging the power of trial balloons in order to float scandalous notions that, while entirely his own, are initially kept at arm’s length.

...

Look, Francis has already demonstrated that he is more than crafty enough to use Eugenio Scalfari as a strategic tool for furthering his modernist agenda. In fact, it may very well be the case that Bergoglio and his atheist sidekick have entered into a private agreement to secretly collaborate as co-conspirators in the effort to bring the Holy Catholic Church to her knees before the god of humanity.
Truly, would anyone in their right mind be surprised to discover concrete evidence that this is indeed the case?

In reaction to reports that Pope Francis has denied the existence of hell, the Vatican has released a carefully worded statement that does not refute the substance of the claims.

(...) Over the years of his pontificate, the pope has given a number of informal interviews to Mr. Scalfari and it has been generally understood that he uses this vehicle to get his ideas out, especially more controversial ones, while always maintaining a certain degree of plausible deniability if something Scalfari relates causes problems.
After one such papal interview with Scalfari in 2013, veteran Vatican analyst John L. Allen offered advice as to how these conversations should be read. He noted that though the words may not always be precise (since Scalfari does not record his conversations or take notes, but recreates them from memory), the content is generally trustworthy.

Spanish flags to fly at half-mast to mark death of Christ

The Ministry of Defence confirmed the flag will be lowered at all military establishments
The Spanish flag will fly at half-mast on all military buildings including the Ministry of Defence in Madrid to commemorate the death of Christ this Holy Week.
In a statement, the ministry said all units, bases, barracks will lower the flag from 2pm on Maundy Thursday to 12.01am on Easter Sunday “as is traditional”.

The Stations of the Cross

To obtain indulgences due to current circumstances, we will pray for the intentions of our Supreme Pontiff Jesus Christ (Hebrews 4:15) that it is work for our sanctification, we will pray that His will be done in our lives (1 Thessalonians 4: 3-8).

This Devotion arose first in Jerusalem among the Christians who dwelt there out of veneration for those sacred spots which were sanctified by the sufferings of our Divine Redeemer. From the Holy City, this devout exercise was introduced into Europe. When, in 1342, the Franciscan Fathers established their house in Jerusalem, and undertook the custody of the sacred places of the Holy Land, they began to spread throughout the Catholic world the devotion of the Way of the Cross.

This excellent devotion has been repeatedly approved by the Holy See, and is enriched with many Indulgences; to gain them, it is necessary to meditate, according to one's ability, on the Passion and Death of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to go from one Station to another, if the space and number of persons will admit.
Method of Practicing this Exercise
Composed by St Alphonsus Liguori
Let each one make an act of contrition, and form the intention of gaining the Indulgences, whether for himself or for the souls in Purgatory.

Act of Contrition: O my God, I am heartly sorry for having offended thee; and I detest all of my sins, because I dread the loss of heaven and the pains of hell, but most of all because they offend thee, my God, Who art all good and deseving of all my love. I firmly resolve with the help of Thy grace to confess my sins, to do penance, and to amend my life. Amen

Preparatory Prayer

My Lord Jesus Christ, Thou hast made this journey to die for me with love unutterable, and I have so many times unworthily abandoned Thee; but now I love Thee with my whole heart, and because I love Thee, I repent sincerely for ever having offended Thee. Pardon me, my God, and permit me to accompany Thee on this journey. Thou goest to die for love of me; I wish also, my beloved Redeemer, to die for love of Thee. My Jesus, I will live and die always united to Thee.

At the Cross her station keeping,
Stood the mournful Mother weeping,
Close to Jesus to the last.

THE FIRST STATION

JESUS IS CONDEMNED TO DEATH

V. We adore Thee, O Christ, and we bless Thee.
R. Because by Thy holy Cross, Thou hast redeemed the world.

Consider how Jesus, after having been scourged and crowned with thorns, was unjustly condemned by Pilate to die on the Cross.

My adorable Jesus, it was not Pilate, no, it was my sins that condemned Thee to die. I beseech Thee, by the merits of this sorrowful journey, to assist my soul in its journey towards eternity. I love Thee, my beloved Jesus; I repent with my whole heart for having offended Thee. Never permit me to separate myself from Thee again. Grant that I may love Thee always, and then do with me what Thou wilt.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be to the Father, etc.

Through her heart, His sorrow sharing,
All His bitter anguish bearing,
Now at length the sword had passed!

station2.jpgTHE SECOND STATION

JESUS CARRIES HIS CROSS

V. We adore Thee, O Christ, and we bless Thee.
R. Because by Thy holy Cross, Thou hast redeemed the world.

Consider how Jesus, in making this journey with the Cross on His shoulders thought of us, and offered for us to His Father the death He was about to undergo.

My most beloved Jesus, I embrace all the tribulations Thou hast destined for me until death. I beseech Thee, by the merits of the pain Thou didst suffer in carrying Thy Cross, to give me the necessary help to carry mine with perfect patience and resignation. I love Thee, Jesus my love; I repent of having offended Thee. Never permit me to separate myself from Thee again. Grant that I may love Thee always, and then do with me what Thou wilt.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be to the Father, etc.

Oh, how sad and sore distressed,
Was that Mother highly blessed,
Of the sole-begotten One,

station3.jpgTHE THIRD STATION:

JESUS FALLS THE FIRST TIME

V. We adore Thee, O Christ, and we bless Thee.
R. Because by Thy holy Cross, Thou hast redeemed the world.

Consider this first fall of Jesus under His Cross. His flesh was torn by the scourges, His head crowned with thorns, and He had lost a great quantity of blood. He was so weakened that he could scarcely walk, and yet he had to carry this great load upon His shoulders. The soldiers struck Him rudely, and thus He fell several times in His journey.

My beloved Jesus, it is not the weight of the Cross, but my sins, which have made Thee suffer so much pain. Ah, by the merits of this first fall, deliver me from the misfortune of falling into mortal sin. I love Thee, O my Jesus, with my whole heart; I repent of having offended Thee. Never permit me to separate myself from Thee again. Grant that I may love Thee always, and then do with me what Thou wilt.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be to the Father, etc.

Christ above in torment hangs,
She beneath beholds the pangs
Of her dying, glorious Son.

station4.jpgTHE FOURTH STATION

JESUS MEETS HIS SORROWFUL MOTHER

V. We adore Thee, O Christ, and we bless Thee.
R. Because by Thy holy Cross, Thou hast redeemed the world.

Consider the meeting of the Son and the Mother, which took place on this journey. Jesus and Mary looked at each other, and their looks became as so many arrows to wound those hearts which loved each other so tenderly.

My most beloved Jesus, by the sorrow Thou didst experience in this meeting, grant me the grace of a truly devoted love for Thy most holy Mother. And thou, my Queen, who wast overwhelmed with sorrow, obtain for me, by thy intercession, a continual and tender remembrance of the Passion of thy Son. I love Thee, Jesus my love; I repent of ever having offended Thee. Never permit me to separate myself from Thee again. Grant that I may love Thee always, and then do with me what Thou wilt.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be to the Father, etc.

Is there one who would not weep,
Whelmed in miseries so deep,
Christ's dear Mother to behold?

station5.jpgTHE FIFTH STATION:

SIMON HELPS JESUS TO CARRY THE CROSS

V. We adore Thee, O Christ, and we bless Thee.
R. Because by Thy holy Cross, Thou hast redeemed the world.

Consider how the Jews, seeing that at each step Jesus from weakness was on the point of expiring, and fearing that He would die on the way, when they wished Him to die the ignominious death of the Cross, constrained Simon the Cyrenian to carry the Cross behind our Lord.My most sweet Jesus, I will not refuse the Cross, as the Cyrenian did; I accept it; I embrace it. I accept in particular the death Thou hast destined for me; with all the pains that may accompany it; I unite it to Thy death, I offer it to Thee. Thou hast died for love of me; I will die for love of Thee, and to please Thee. Help me by Thy grace. I love Thee, Jesus my love; I repent of having offended Thee. Never permit me to separate myself from Thee again. Grant that I may love Thee always, and then do with me what Thou wilt.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be to the Father, etc.

Can the human heart refrain
From partaking in her pain
In that Mother's pain untold?

station6.jpgTHE SIXTH STATION:

VERONICA WIPES THE FACE OF JESUS

V. We adore Thee, O Christ, and we bless Thee.
R. Because by Thy holy Cross, Thou hast redeemed the world.

Consider how the holy woman named Veronica, seeing Jesus so afflicted, and His face bathed in sweat and blood, presented Him with a towel, with which He wiped His adorable face, leaving on it the impression of His holy countenance.

My most beloved Jesus, Thy face was beautiful before, but in this journey it has lost all its beauty, and wounds and blood have disfigured it. Alas, my soul also was once beautiful, when it received Thy grace in Baptism; but I have disfigured it since by my sins; Thou alone, my Redeemer, canst restore it to its former beauty. Do this by Thy Passion, O Jesus. I repent of having offended Thee. Never permit me to separate myself from Thee again. Grant that I may love Thee always, and then do with me what Thou wilt.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be to the Father, etc.

Bruised, derided, cursed, defiled,
She beheld her tender Child,
All with bloody scourges rent.

station7.jpgTHE SEVENTH STATION

JESUS FALLS THE SECOND TIME

V. We adore Thee, O Christ, and we bless Thee.
R. Because by Thy holy Cross, Thou hast redeemed the world.

Consider the second fall of Jesus under the Cross -- a fall which renews the pain of all the wounds of the head and members of our afflicted Lord.

My most gentle Jesus, how many times Thou hast pardoned me, and how many times have I fallen again, and begun again to offend Thee! Oh, by the merits of this new fall, give me the necessary help to persevere in Thy grace until death. Grant that in all temptations which assail me I may always commend myself to Thee. I love Thee, Jesus my love; I repent of having offended Thee. Never permit me to separate myself from Thee again. Grant that I may love Thee always, and then do with me what Thou wilt.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be to the Father, etc.

For the sins of His own nation
Saw Him hang in desolation
Till His spirit forth He sent.

station8.jpgTHE EIGHTH STATION

THE WOMEN OF JERUSALEM WEEP OVER JESUS

V. We adore Thee, O Christ, and we bless Thee.
R. Because by Thy holy Cross, Thou hast redeemed the world.

Consider how those women wept with compassion at seeing Jesus in such a pitiable state, streaming with blood, as He walked along. But Jesus said to them: Weep not for Me, but for your children.

My Jesus, laden with sorrows, I weep for the offences I have committed against Thee, because of the pains they have deserved, and still more because of the displeasure they have caused Thee, who hast loved me so much. It is Thy love, more than the fear of hell, which causes me to weep for my sins. My Jesus, I love Thee more than myself; I repent of having offended Thee. Never permit me to separate myself from Thee again. Grant that I may love Thee always, and then do with me what Thou wilt.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be to the Father, etc.

Oh thou Mother! Font of love,
Touch my spirit from above,
Make my heart with thine accord.

station9.jpgTHE NINTH STATION

JESUS FALLS THE THIRD TIME

V. We adore Thee, O Christ, and we bless Thee.
R. Because by Thy holy Cross, Thou hast redeemed the world.

Consider the third fall of Jesus Christ. His weakness was extreme, and the cruelty of His executioners was excessive, who tried to hasten His steps when He had scarcely strength to move.

Ah, my outraged Jesus, by the merits of the weakness Thou didst suffer in going to Calvary, give me strength sufficient to conquer all human respect, and all my wicked passions, which have led me to despise Thy friendship. I love Thee, Jesus my love, with my whole heart; I repent of having offended Thee. Never permit me to separate myself from Thee again. Grant that I may love Thee always, and then do with me what Thou wilt.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be to the Father, etc.

Make me feel as Thou hast felt;
Make my soul to glow and melt
With the love of Christ, my Lord.

station10.jpgTHE TENTH STATION

JESUS IS STRIPPED OF HIS GARMENTS

V. We adore Thee, O Christ, and we bless Thee.
R. Because by Thy holy Cross, Thou hast redeemed the world.

Consider the violence with which the executioners stripped Jesus. His inner garments adhered to His torn flesh, and they dragged them off so roughly that the skin came with them. Compassionate your Savior thus cruelly treated, and say to Him:My innocent Jesus, by the merits of the torment Thou hast felt, help me to strip myself of all affection to things of earth, in order that I may place all my love in Thee, who art so worthy of my love. I love Thee, O Jesus, with my whole heart; I repent of having offended Thee. Never permit me to separate myself from Thee again. Grant that I may love Thee always, and then do with me what Thou wilt.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be to the Father, etc.

Holy Mother! pierce me through,
In my heart each wound renew
Of my Saviour crucified.

station11.jpgTHE ELEVENTH STATION

JESUS IS NAILED TO THE CROSS

V. We adore Thee, O Christ, and we bless Thee.
R. Because by Thy holy Cross, Thou hast redeemed the world.

Consider how Jesus, after being thrown on the Cross extended His hands, and offered to His Eternal Father the sacrifice of His life for our salvation. These barbarians fastened Him with nails, and then, raising the Cross, allowed Him to die with anguish on this infamous gibbet.

My Jesus! loaded with contempt, nail my heart to Thy feet, that it may ever remain there, to love Thee, and never quit Thee again. I love Thee more than myself; I repent of having offended Thee. Never permit me to separate myself from Thee again. Grant that I may love Thee always, and then do with me what Thou wilt.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be to the Father, etc.

Let me share with thee His pain,
Who for all my sins was slain,
Who for me in torments died.

station12.jpgTHE TWELFTH STATION

JESUS DIES ON THE CROSS

V. We adore Thee, O Christ, and we bless Thee.
R. Because by Thy holy Cross, Thou hast redeemed the world.

Consider how thy Jesus, after three hours' agony on the Cross, consumed at length with anguish, abandoned Himself to the weight of His body, bows His head, and dies.

O my dying Jesus, I kiss devoutly the Cross on which Thou didst die for love of me. I have merited by my sins to die a miserable death; but Thy death is my hope. Ah, by the merits of Thy death, give me grace to die, embracing Thy feet, and burning with love for Thee. I commit my soul into Thy hands. I love Thee with my whole heart; I repent of ever having offended Thee. Never permit me to separate myself from Thee again. Grant that I may love Thee always, and then do with me what Thou wilt.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be to the Father, etc.

Let me mingle tears with thee,
Mourning Him Who mourned for me,
All the days that I may live.

station13.jpgTHE THIRTEENTH STATION

JESUS IS TAKEN DOWN FROM THE CROSS

V. We adore Thee, O Christ, and we bless Thee.
R. Because by Thy holy Cross, Thou hast redeemed the world.

Consider how, after the death of our Lord, two of His disciples, Joseph and Nicodemus, took Him down from the Cross, and placed Him in the arms of His afflicted Mother, who received Him with unutterable tenderness, and pressed Him to her bosom.

O Mother of sorrow, for the love of this Son, accept me for thy servant, and pray to Him for me. And Thou, my Redeemer, since Thou hast died for me, permit me to love Thee; for I wish but Thee, and nothing more. I love Thee, my Jesus, and I repent of ever having offended Thee. Never permit me to separate myself from Thee again. Grant that I may love Thee always, and then do with me what Thou wilt.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be to the Father, etc.

By the cross with thee to stay;
There with thee to weep and pray,
Is all I ask of thee to give.

station14.jpgTHE FOURTEENTH STATION

JESUS IS LAID IN THE SEPULCHRE

V. We adore Thee, O Christ, and we bless Thee.
R. Because by Thy holy Cross, Thou hast redeemed the world.

Consider how the disciples carried the body of Jesus to bury it, accompanied by His holy Mother, who arranged it in the sepulchre with her own hands. They then closed the tomb, and all withdrew.

Ah, my buried Jesus, I kiss the stone that encloses Thee. But Thou didst rise again the third day. I beseech Thee, by Thy Resurrection, make me rise glorious with Thee at the last day, to be always united with Thee in heaven, to praise Thee and love Thee forever. I love Thee, and I repent of ever having offended Thee. Never permit me to separate myself from Thee again. Grant that I may love Thee always, and then do with me what Thou wilt.

Our Father, Hail Mary, Glory be to the Father, etc.

Virgin of all virgins blest!
Listen to my fond request;
Let me share thy grief divine.
After this, say the Our Father, the Hail Mary and the Glory be to the Father five times, in honor of the Passion of Jesus Christ, to gain the other Indulgences granted to those who recite them.http://catholicharboroffaithandmorals.com/

On Holy Thursday Pieces of plaster of St Peter’s Basilica rained down on tourists - as Bergoglio denies Hell exists

THE Vatican sealed off part of St Peter's Basilica after chunks of plaster rained down on worshippers at the height of the Easter holiday season.
Plaster fell near Michelangelo's famed Pieta statue, near the main entrance - hours after the Pope is alleged to have denied the existence of hell.
...

Hours later, worshippers were pummelled with falling plaster at the Holy spot - but no injuries were reported.

Vatican spokesman Greg Burke said repairmen were brought into to secure the site and the basilica remained open for business.

Good Friday: let's pray for the conversion of the Jews

Let us pray likewise for the faithless Jews: that the Lord our God may remove from their hearts the veil of unbelief: and that they may come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Let us pray.
Almighty and eternal God, who drivest not away from Thy mercy even the faithless Jews: hear our prayers, which we offer for the blindness of that people: that acknowledging the light of Thy truth, which is Christ, they may be delivered from their darkness. Through the same Jesus Christ, thy Son our Lord, who liveth and reigneth with thee in the unity of the Holy Ghost, ever one God. world without end.
R.  Amen.

Saint Cyril of Jerusalem

  • God the Father does not accept the service of those who do not worship the Son

For the Father has indignation when the Only-begotten Son is set at nought. For it is grievous to a king that merely his soldier should be dishonoured; and when one of his nobler officers or friends is dishonoured, then his anger is greatly increased: but if any should do despite to the king’s only-begotten son himself, who shall appease the father’s indignation on behalf of his only-begotten son? If, therefore, any one wishes to show piety towards God, let him worship the Son, since otherwise the Father accepts not his service. (Saint Cyril of Jerusalem, Catechetical Lecture 10, In one Lord Jesus Christ, no. 1 – 2)

Saint John Chrysostom
-The Jews when be forgiven neither by circumcision nor by other deeds, but only by Baptism
-Beloved, because of their ancestors, the virtue of the latter is useless to them till they believe.

Saint John Chrysostom

  • The Jews when be forgiven neither by circumcision nor by other deeds, but only by Baptism

“For this is my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins” (Rom 11:27). Not when they are circumcised, not when they sacrifice, not when they do the other deeds of the Law, but when they attain to the forgiveness of sins. If then this hath been promised, but has never yet happened in their case, nor have they ever enjoyed the remission of sins by baptism, certainly it will come to pass. Hence he proceeds, “For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance” (Rom 11:29).  (Saint John Chrysostom, Homily XIX, Letter to the Romans, no. 6)

Hell is empty according to Bergoglio

John Vennari: “Though this might shock some readers, I must say that I would never allow Pope Francis to teach religion to my children”.

Later, in the church, he met with a group of children and young people, and answered their questions. The first was: if God forgives everything, why does Hell exist? The Pope replied that Hell is the desire to distance oneself from God and to reject God's love. But”, he added, “if you were a terrible sinner, who had committed all the sins in the world, all of them, condemned to death, and even when you are there, you were to blaspheme, insults... and at the moment of death, when you were about to die, you were to look to Heaven and say, 'Lord …!', where do you go, to Heaven or to Hell? To Heaven! Only those who say, I have no need of You, I can get along by myself, as the devil did, are in Hell – and he is the only one we are certain is there”.

Where are the souls of the condemned  that do not appear in the Hell according to Bergoglio? They annihilated as Scalfari claimed? Where is Judas Iscariot ? Where are the condemned souls that the virgin showed to the children of Fatima?

Francis said: Jesus Christ was "annihilated" .. "we are on the way to the existential annihilation of life"

Matthew 7:21

Concerning Self-Deception

“Not every one who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

Bergoglio contradicted the Scripture, the Catechism and the doctors of the Church and saints and the Virgin of Fatima for example.

Let's listen again what Scalfari Wrote:

Hell ‘does not’ exist…sinful souls ‘disappear,’ Francis allegedly tells favorite interviewer

Scalfari reported their alleged exchange about hell as follows:
Scalfari: Your Holiness, in our previous meeting you told me that our species will at some point disappear and God will always create other species from his creative seed. You have never spoken to me of souls who have died in sin and go to hell to suffer for it forever. Instead, you have spoken to me of good souls who are admitted to the contemplation of God. But the bad souls? Where are they punished?
Pope Francis: “They are not punished, those who repent obtain God’s forgiveness and join the ranks of souls who contemplate him, but those who do not repent and cannot therefore be forgiven disappear. Hell does not exist; the disappearance of sinful souls exists.”
At the end of the interview, Scalfari also expressly denied the divinity of Christ, describing Jesus of Nazareth as  “a man and no more than a man.”

Christ: "Be ye perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect"

Feast of Holy Thursday

That our reception of the Holy Communion, therefore, may be indeed like that of the beloved disciple, it suffices not that we are free from the guilt of mortal sin; but we must leave nothing undone to cleanse our souls from the dust of venial sins and deliberate imperfections.

The ceremonies attendant upon the institution of the Most Holy Sacrament, as described by St. John, are a proof of this. Jesus washes the feet of all His disciples; and our Lord's answer to St. Peter shows that . Therefore, did St. Peter exclaim: "Lord, not only my feet, but also my hands and my head." But even yet this is not the perfect preparation for Holy Communion. St. John was next to Jesus. This illustrates the ardor and fidelity with which he followed the Lord from the very moment he was called by Him. He was one of those three highly-favored Apostles who were permitted to be in the closest proximity to Jesus, and who enjoyed the privilege of beholding Jesus in His transfiguration on Mt. Tabor; and, even among those three, he was the only one who followed Him to Calvary, and beheld Him on the cross.

This feature in the life of St. John--"the disciple whom Jesus loved"--should awaken in us the desire and resolution to make the most earnest efforts to please God, and so become more and more like that Divine Model, and, like St. John, to be faithful unto death.

But the generality of Christians care not to follow the admonition of Christ: "Be ye perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect;" and here we can find the cause of so many tepid and fruitless communions. Should any one ask why we feel so little fear of venial sins and trifling imperfections, I would say: As the fervent love of St. John is wanting, so also are the hunger and thirst of his heart after sanctity, lacking in the hearts of many who go forward to receive the Body and Blood of Christ. Whosoever loveth truly, my dear brethren, avoids everything, great or little, that might grieve or offend the beloved object; and the more ardent the love, the more earnest the effort to please. St. Paul tells us, in the most explicit manner, that there is no communication between light and darkness, between Christ and Satan, between heaven and hell.

The very ceremonies made use of in the administration of Holy Communion show how essential to its worthy reception is a repentant heart; for the Church has prescribed that the "Confiteor" be recited aloud, so that every communicant may make another act of sorrow for the most venial imperfection which rests upon his soul before he opens his lips to welcome the Lord of heaven and earth into his heart. But what urges us on and strengthens us to emulate the saints in their zealous imitation of Jesus is love. "The love, of Christ urges us," cries out the Apostle.

Scalfari: Francis denies Hell

Non esiste un inferno” – “There is no hell”, atheist journalist Eugenio Scalfari of La Repubblica claims that his friend Bergoglio denied  the existence of Hell (March 28).

Vatican Statement Confirms: Francis Is a Heretic
en.news The Vatican Press Office admitted on March 29 that the “Holy Father Francis” again received the evil journalist Eugenio Scalfari.

After the meeting, Scalfari wrote in his anti-Catholic newspaper La Repubblica that Francis denied the existence of hell.

The Press Office does not dispute that Scalfari reported Francis’ statement in a materially correct way but distracts the public by saying that Scalfari may not have used the exact wording.

Papa Francesco: “L’inferno non esiste”. E le anime dei peccatori? Puff, “scompaiono”

In the past, Scalfari produced articles after having talked to Francis in September 2013, July 2014, March 2015, November 2015 and 2016, and July 2017. Five of these articles produced Vatican dementis.

But these denials cannot be taken serious as Francis keeps receiving Scalfari in order to feed him with material for new articles.

Therefore it is beyond reasonable doubt that Francis uses his inflammatory statements to Scalfari in order to saw confusion among the simple faithful and further produce conflicts and division in the Church.

Bergoglio destroys the dogma of Hell: "Eternal damnation is not a torture chamber but distance from God"

" We will all be up there in Heaven together"

"Scalfari: What happens to that lost soul? Will it be punished? And how? The response of Francis is distinct and clear (netta e chiara): there is no punishment, but the destruction/annihilation of that soul.

"The Italian atheist Eugenio Scalfari has told a large audience in Rome that (Bergoglio) asked him not to convert to the Catholic faith because then he’d have to find another stimulating non-believer to speak with".

Francis is deeply influenced by Peronism, where confusion, muddle and incompatible ideas are not accidental by-products, but rather deliberate objectives and key assets in running a Regime.

Later, in the church, he met with a group of children and young people, and answered their questions. The first was: if God forgives everything, why does Hell exist?  (Bergoglio) replied that Hell is the desire to distance oneself from God and to reject God's love. To Heaven! Only those who say, I have no need of You, I can get along by myself, as the devil did, are in Hell – and he is the only one we are certain is thereVatican Information Service, Bergoglio meets the parishioners of Tor Bella Monaca

Concerning Self-Deception

“Not every one who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.
