Bergoglio once again attacks the Sacrament of Confession

Bergoglio obsessively accuses the Church of using the confessional, as a 'torture room'

☠️“Please, don’t have it be a tribunal, a school exam; don’t be a snoop into other people’s souls; (be) merciful fathers, brothers,” the anti-Catholic Jorge Bergoglio told a group of seminarians, new priests and priests who hear confessions in the major basilicas of Rome. ☠️

"The Man of Sin ... will be recognized as the ... Son of Perdition, since he will be immoral in everything and will teach men things contrary to God " Scivias.

☠️Don’t ask indiscreet questions. I’ve learned a very important lesson from Card. Piacenza. He told me that when he sees that a person is struggling to confess a particular sin, but he understands what it is, he tells them, ‘I understand. Let’s move on.’ Don’t cause them more pain. Don’t torture them.☠️

Francis’ Heretical Teaching on Confession

“Jesus in the confessional is not a dry cleaner; it is an encounter with Jesus … who waits for us just as we are,” said Heresiarch Bergoglio

The Council of Trent teaches us: "If anyone says that the confession of all sins, is not a judicial act ... let him be anathema."(Denzinger, 919)

Confession without confessing? When Luther was surpassed…

I – The Sacrament of Penance requires the accusation of faults to be validly administered

He who conceals his sins prospers not, but he who confesses and forsakes them obtains mercy. (Prov 28:13)

Catechism of Trent

The priest should dismiss the penitent he has found lacking in diligence in examining his conscience or sorrow in detesting his sins

If, after having heard the confession, he [the priest] is of the opinion that the penitent did not entirely lack diligence in examining his conscience or sorrow in detesting his sins, he may absolve him; but if he has found him deficient in both, he should, as we have already said, admonish him to use greater care in his examination of conscience, and dismiss him as kindly as he can. (Catechism of Trent, 2400)

Council of Trent (Ecumenical XIX)

Condemned: those who maintain that the parts of the Sacrament of Penance (one of them being confession) are the terrors of conscience and faith

The holy Council, while recording these matters regarding the parts and effect of this sacrament, condemns the opinions of those who maintain that the parts of penance are the terrors of conscience and faith [can. 4]. (Denzinger-Hünermann 1675. Council of Trent, Session XIV, Session XIII, Ch. 3, The Parts and Fruits of the Sacrament of Penance, October 11, 1551)

Saint Thomas Aquinas

Neglecting to confess one’s sin is opposed to Penance
To hide one’s sins may happen in two ways: first, in the very act of sinning. […] Secondly, one hides one’s sin previously committed, by neglecting to confess it: this is opposed to Penance, and to hide one’s sins thus is not a second plank, but is the reverse, since it is written (Prov. 28:13): ‘He that hideth his sins shall not prosper.’ (Saint Thomas Aquinas. Summa Theologica, III, q. 84, ad 1)
