Bergoglio blasphemes again: “This Holy Spirit is a Disaster”!

And anyone who says a word against the Son of man will be forgiven; but no one who speaks against the Holy Spirit will be forgiven either in this world or in the next. Matthew 12:32

The Holy Spirit Is...WHAT???

Yesterday at a meeting conducted by the Congregation for the Institutes of Consecrated Life, Pope Francis said that "the Holy Spirit is a disaster because He never tires of being creative."

My dear friends who insist on trying to defend the indefensible utterances of this Pope, don't try this time.  It truly would be both intellectually and spiritually dishonest of you to even engage on such logical gymnastics.  Think about it.  The Third Person of the Blessed Trinity is God.  The Vicar of Christ said that "God is a disaster".   Did he mean to say that?  I don't know and more importantly it doesn't matter what he meant.  The fact is that he said it.  Can you point to any other pontiff who let that kind of blasphemy come out of his mouth?

Later he extols the benefits of "discernment".  I'd agree that discernment is most beneficial.  He should try it sometime.

Saint Bernard of Clairvaux

It is not jests or fables but the law of God that is to be sought from the mouth of a priest
Amongst laymen frivolous language is only frivolity: but it is blasphemy when it comes from the mouth of a priest. […] Thy lips have been consecrated to the Gospel of Christ. Therefore it is unlawful for thee now to use them for jesting, and a sacrilege to have them thus habitually employed. ‘The lips of the priest,’ says the Prophet, ‘shall keep knowledge, and they shall seek the law at his mouth’ (Mal 2:7). Observe that it is not jests or fables but the law of God that is to be sought from the mouth of a priest. With regard to scurrility, it is not enough to banish that from thy mouth: it must also be banished from thine ear. To allow thyself to laugh at such jokes would be a scandal; but it would be a greater scandal to repeat them for the amusement of others. (Saint Bernard. Treatise on Consideration to Pope Eugene III, Ch. XIII, 68-69)

Revelation 13:6 and it mouthed its blasphemies against God, against his name, his heavenly Tent and all those who are sheltered there.

Pseudo-Chrysostom: Observe how Christ when Himself suffered wrong at the hands of the Devil, being tempted of him, saying, “If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down,” yet was not moved to chide the Devil. But now when the Devil usurps the honour of God, he is wroth, and drives him away, saying, “Go thy way, Satan;” that we may learn by His example to bear injuries to ourselves with magnanimity, but wrongs to God, to endure not so much as to hear; for to be patient under our own wrongs is praiseworthy, to dissemble when God is wronged is impiety. (Catena Aurea - St. Thomas Aquinas)
