U.S. Bishops Invite Heretics to Address Them

en.news Sister Teresa Maya, a former president of the anti-Catholic group “Leadership Council for Women Religious”, was invited to talk to the U.S. bishops, gathered in Baltimore. Ten years ago her group was investigated by the Vatican for “serious theological errors”.

Sister Maya preached on Monday to the bishops during the exposition of the Blessed Sacrament.

Another controversial host was the ultraliberal Cardinal Roger Mahony who lectured the bishops about handling homosexual abuses although he himself is barred from public ministry due to mishandling of abuse cases.

The retired Army Colonel Anita Raines, the chair-elect of the bishops' “National Advisory Council” [on sexual abuses], recommended to the bishops to audit the seminaries regarding “predatory homosexual behaviour”.

Bishop Joseph Strickland of Tyler, Texas, suggested that Catholic dioceses should not welcome the homosexual propagandist, Father James Martin.

Outside the conference, ChurchMilitant.com organised a rally attended by 300 people who chanted "Viganó" – referring to the Whistleblower Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò.
