Trump declares “National Day of Prayer” Sunday, March 15th

This country has historically “looked to God for protection and strength,” the president wrote, encouraging Americans to unite as a country during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“It is my great honor to declare Sunday, March 15th as a National Day of Prayer,” the President tweeted. “We are a Country that, throughout our history, has looked to God for protection and strength in times like these…”

The President of the United States Donald Trump declared Sunday a National Day of Prayer hours after declaring a national emergency over the COVID-19 pandemic. He made the announcement through his official twitter account.
