Cardinal Pell called Francis’s pontificate a ‘catastrophe’ in memo

Cardinal George Pell: All Agree the Pontificate of Francis Is a ‘Catastrophe’

‘Catastrophe’: Cardinal Pell’s secret memo blasts Francis

News by Fred Alan Medforth
Italian journalist Sandro Magister has said that late Australian Cardinal George Pell was the author of an anonymous memo he published on his blog last year that called Pope Francis’s pontificate was a “catastrophe”. The prefect emeritus of the Secretariat for the Economy, who spent over a year in jail in his homeland before being cleared of sexual abuse charges in 2020, died in Rome last week following heart complications that arose after a hip operation. The memo said a wide range of commentators considered “this pontificate is a disaster in many or most respects; a catastrophe”.

PELL IS DEMOS

Cardinal Pell: «As head of the Vatican State and source of all legal authority, the Pope (BERGOGLIO) has used this power to interfere in judicial proceedings.

«Sometimes, not to say often, the Pope (BEROGLIO) governs with pontifical decrees, motu proprio, which eliminate the right to appeal of those affected.

"The German synod speaks of homosexuality, of women priests, of communion for the divorced. And the papacy (BergogLIO) is silent. Cardinal Hollerich rejects Christian teaching on sexuality. And the papacy (BergogLIO) is silent. This is doubly significant because the cardinal is explicitly a heretic; he doesn't use code words or innuendos."

Monsignor Athanasius Schneider:
“When we arrive at a point in the Church where the faithful, priests and bishops are afraid to say something, as in a dictatorship, this is not the Church.”
“...blind obedience is characteristic of a ‘dictatorship,’ not the Church”.
