Outlet Very Close to Francis Calls Franciscan Sisters of Immaculate “Prostitutes”

The ultra-Bergoglist Italian news-site FaroDiRoma.it has run amok against the Franciscans of the Immaculate who are relentlessly persecuted by Pope Francis. In the headline of a long February 9 article signed by the editorial staff, FaroDiRoma speaks about – quote – “these prostitute sisters.”

Shocking Accusations Without Proves

The FaroDiRoma writes that some sisters were – quote – “pushed to offer their favours to benefactors” of the institute. FaroDiRoma calls this – quote – “a kind of traditional prostitution by means of the confessional”. It does not explain what this exactly means nor does it offer proof, names of witnesses or corroborating evidence.

Symbolic Gestures Indicates “Mafia”

The editorial staff scandalizes a harmless stitch in the finger through which the sisters, at a certain point of their formation, symbolized their readiness to offer their blood for Christ. According to the FaroDiRoma, this gesture was imitating the Italian Mafia. It goes on alleging that the sisters were also marked with a branding iron, - quote - as it happens with “cows” or in “national-socialist concentration camps.” For “cow”, the article uses the word “vacca” which in modern Italian means “prostitute” while the word for cow is “mucca”.

Franciscans of the Immaculate Were “Part of Mafia”

Il FaroDiRoma then claims that the Franciscans of the Immaculate were used as a – quote – “strongbox and front organisation of the Camorra.” It alleges that income generated by the assets of the order were and are still pocketed by organized crime. The editorial staff of the FaroDiRoma believes that this money was sent to Nigeria in order to buy drugs that were brought to Italy in order to be refined. The earnings were then moved to England.

Father Fidenzio Volpi Was “Murdered”

As a cherry on the cake, the FaroDiRoma goes on claiming that Father Fidenzio Volpi, the merciless apostolic commissioner of the Franciscans of the Immaculate, imposed by Pope Francis, was murdered. Volpi died in June 2015 as a consequence of a cerebral haemorrhage. But FaroDiRoma claims that while Volpi was in hospital he was served with a cappuccino containing arsenic. According to the article, this was decided by the Camorra although the Italian police have officially ruled out any foul play. The FaroDiRoma admits however that Volpi was a “liberal”.

Our Lord having reproached the Jews with blindness, they might have said, We are not blind, but we avoid you as a deceiver. Our Lord therefore gives the marks which distinguish a robber and deceiver from a true shepherd. St. Vincent Ferrer -- Sermon on the Last Judgment: In the same way, in the time of Antichrist, the Sun of justice will be obscured by the interposition of temporal goods and the wealth which Antichrist will bestow on the world, inasmuch as the brightness of faith in Jesus Christ and the glow of good lives will no longer shine among Christians. For, lest they should lose their dominion, temporal rulers, kings and princes will range themselves on the side of Antichrist. In like manner, prelates for fear of losing their dignities, and religious and priests to gain honors and riches, will forsake the Faith of Christ and adhere to Antichrist.

Neither living nor lifeless faith remains in a heretic who disbelieves one article of faith. The reason of this is that the species of every habit depends on the formal aspect of the object, without which the species of the habit cannot remain. Now the formal object of faith is the First Truth, as manifested in Holy Writ and the teaching of the Church, which proceeds from the First Truth. Consequently whoever does not adhere, as to an infallible and Divine rule, to the teaching of the Church, which proceeds from the First Truth manifested in Holy Writ, has not the habit of faith, but holds that which is of faith otherwise than by faith. Even so, it is evident that a man whose mind holds a conclusion without knowing how it is proved, has not scientific knowledge, but merely an opinion about it. Now it is manifest that he who adheres to the teaching of the Church, as to an infallible rule, assents to whatever the Church teaches; otherwise, if, of the things taught by the Church, he holds what he chooses to hold, and rejects what he chooses to reject, he no longer adheres to the teaching of the Church as to an infallible rule, but to his own will. Hence it is evident that a heretic who obstinately disbelieves one article of faith, is not prepared to follow the teaching of the Church in all things; but if he is not obstinate, he is no longer in heresy but only in error. Therefore it is clear that such a heretic with regard to one article has no faith in the other articles, but only a kind of opinion in accordance with his own will. (Saint Thomas Aquinas.
