We all know that Tucho Fernández occupies a position that is too big for him, writes ElWanderer.com (November 10). He refers to Tucho’s most recent mistake of devaluing Our Lady’s titles, Co-Redemptrix and Mediatrix of All Graces.

Authority of a Pornographer
El-Wanderer adds: "It is strange and even repulsive that a priest who wrote books about the differences between kissing on the lips and kissing with the tongue, and between female orgasm and male sexual insatiability, could, draft and sign a document that wounds the Catholic devotion to the Mater populi fidelis."

ElWanderer believes that Fernández's documents "respond more to a need in his own psychology and biography than to the needs of the universal Church".

"In this regard, a couple of questions should be asked of Rev Daniel Pellizzón, who was Francis' secretary and who was coincidentally appointed to that position practically on the same days that Tucho climbed to his current position.
Remember that the homily at Pellizzón's first Mass was given by Víctor Fernández, the then Archbishop of La Plata. Prior to his ordination, Pellizzón had collaborated closely with Fernández when he was rector of the Pontifical Catholic University of Argentina. It all reminds us very much of Roger Peyrefitte and some of his books."
[Note: French diplomat and homosexual Peyrefitte became famous for his frank and unapologetic portrayal of homosexual relationships, particularly among the educated classes and the clergy.]
Tucho Obsessed to Speak Against Co-Redemptrix
Regarding the Marian titles, ElWanderer adds that Tucho’s students recall him being “obsessed with the theme of Marian co-redemption and never passing up an opportunity to speak out against the title".
"It would seem, then, having reached the summit where he now resides, he is dedicated to satisfying all his petty malice and seeking revenge on those he considers his enemies, without stopping to think about the harm his miseries may cause to the Church."
Did Tucho Want to Cause Theological Fights?
Furthermore, ElWanderer notices that Tucho’s Marian document has created a huge, deep rift that did not exist before. There were no discussions, fights, conflicts, or divisions about Marian titles within the Church:
"Now, the hornet's nest has been stirred up. Where there was no problem, a thick cloud of hornets has been generated that are attacking each and creating divisions and wounds."
If Tucho did foresee that this outcome, "it implies enormous irresponsibility that disqualifies him from the position he holds".
However: "If he did not foresee it, then it implies a monstrous incompetence, which also disqualifies him."
What About Leo XIV: Manipulator? Hypocrite? Limited Man?
Finally, ElWanderer asks, why Pope Leo XIV authorized the document. He offers a few possible answers:
- Leo XIV's words to reunite the Church was merely a smokescreen to calm some restless spirits, and it was not the true mission he has set himself.
- He was unaware of the division it would cause, which is almost worse because it suggests that he is incapable of foreseeing the consequences of his actions, indicating that he is a limited man.
- He does not have the personality to put a stop to Tucho's pretensions or the posthumous wishes of the illustrious deceased.
In any case: "We are facing a serious problem."
