Padre Pio against communism.

Padre Pio did become involved in elections in Italy after World War II, when there was as strong possibility that the Communist Party would win at the polls. He was known to tell pilgrims visiting his friary at San Giovanni Rotondo that they should not vote for Communists. In fact, the Communist party blamed Padre Pio for their defeat in two of the general elections held during the late 1940’s.
Padre Pio condemned the policy of dialogue with atheistic communism.

Abuse of ecclesiastical Power

Padre Pio said these words in 1963: “Because of the spreading injustice and abuse of power, we have arrived at a compromise with atheistic materialism.”

Apostasy. Padre Pio said that all the priests who want to dialogue with communism deny of God.
“Christ came to bring to earth a perpetual alliance only with men of goodwill, but not to ally Himself with men thirsty for power and domination over their brothers....”
