No, the Truth Is Never an “Idol”

Gloria.TV News New York Father Gerald Murray criticized on www.thecatholicthing.org Francis’ claim during his Chrism Mass homily, that we should not make – quote – “idols of certain abstract truths.” Murray counters, “Truth is not an idol, it is the remedy to idolatry.” He points out that Francis’ statement is another attempt to defend Amoris Laetitia which – quote - “contradicts all previous papal teaching and legislation”.
