Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, protect our families

Catholic faith and moral
catholicharboroffaithandmorals

by Rev. R. S. Dewey, S.J. 1890

Blessed Margaret Mary exhorted all Christians, even as they value their salvation, to consecrate themselves to the Heart of Jesus. These are her words: "The devil fears above all things else the accomplishment of this good work . . . by the saving of so many souls, through devotion to this loving Heart, of those who shall consecrate themselves wholly to Its love, honor, and glory."
A sure means of having all Christians consecrate themselves to the Divine Heart is to begin with the children. The year 1889 was the year of the reign of the Sacred Heart over society, promoted by the Consecration of Families to the Divine Heart. The year 1890, the 2d Centenary of Blessed Margaret Mary, should be the crowning and completion of the work so well begun. Under the auspices of this blessed seer a special effort will be made to consecrate to the Sacred Heart the "heart of the family"--the children so dear to the Divine Master. A special motive urgently pressing the proposal of this Consecration of Children, is the relentless and unholy warfare against the Christian education of children. A more powerful protection than this Consecration could not be given them.

Form Of Consecration(To be said by all the children after the priest, or teacher, or one in the family leading.)

Priest or teacher:    Divine Heart of Jesus, behold us prostrate in Thy sight to give Thee our love and consecrate ourselves to Thee for ever. In the name of Mary, our Mother in heaven, sweet Heart of Jesus, have pity on us.

Children:    In the name of Mary, our Mother in heaven, sweet Heart of Jesus, have pity on us.

Priest or teacher:    O good and most loving Jesus, during the days of Thy mortal life, Thou wert pleased to bless little children and didst allow them to press close to Thee, saying to the bystanders: Suffer the little children to come unto Me and forbid them not. "We thank Thee, O good Jesus, for Thy great love toward us and we offer in return our whole heart and all our love.

Children:    We thank Thee, O good Jesus, for Thy great love toward us and we offer in return our whole heart and all our love.

Priest or teacher:    O good and most loving Jesus, Thou delightest in the prayers of children and dost listen to their innocent desires. On this beautiful day, more than ever, give ear to their wishes and grant their requests. Together we will say: Heart of Jesus, bless our father, bless our mother, bless our relatives and our teachers.

Children:    Heart of Jesus, bless our father, bless our mother, bless our relatives and teachers.

Priest or teacher:    Heart of Jesus, bless our companions and pardon poor sinners.

Children:    Heart of Jesus, bless our companions and pardon poor sinners.

Priest or teacher:    Divine Heart of Jesus, we pray Thee, also, for the children of the whole world: guard the cradle of tho new-born, the school of children, the vocation of youth; be Thou Thyself the support of poor children and a father to orphans. But, most of all, O Jesus, Thou fulness of mercy and of love, we beseech Thee to aid us in the hour of death; then, more closely than ever before, unite us to Thy Divine Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Thy gracious Mother; be our shelter and our refuge, and our resting-place; and when, one after the other, we shall have fallen asleep in Thy blessed bosom, O Jesus, may each of us in Paradise find again all his family unbroken in Thy Sacred Heart.

All together:    --Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us! Immaculate Heart of Mary, pray for us! Great Saint Joseph, pray for us! Holy Guardian Angels, intercede for us! Amen.

Note: This consecration may be made by children at any time, either in common in church, or privately at home.

Amazon Synod Document Is "Apostasy," "Heretical" - Cardinal Brandmüller

en.news
The Amazon Synod aims primarily at abolishing celibacy and at introducing a female "priesthood," starting with "deaconesses," Cardinal Walter Brandmüller, 90, writes on Kath.net (June 27).

According to Brandmüller the working document implies the Church's self-destruction or her transformation into a secular NGO with an ecological-social-psychological mandate.

Brandmüller criticizes the document’s positive assessment of pagan religions including a proposed dialogue with spirits [demons].

He notices an attack on the Church's hierarchical-sacramental structure as the document aims at reconsidering the link between Holy Orders and the power of government (jurisdiction).

The cardinal observes that the document starts from a immanentist understanding of religion and considers religion as a result and expression of man's own spiritual experience.

Brandmüller qualifies the document as "apostasy", because it questions and misunderstands Divine Revelation, and as "heretical", because it contradicts the Church's teaching in crucial matters.

St Pelagius of Córdoba a Christian teenager Martyr for rejecting Islam and homosexuality

Martirologio: "In Córdoba, in the Hispanic region of Andalusia, Saint Pelayo, martyr, than at thirteen, for wanting to preserve his faith in Christ and his chastity before the dishonest customs of Abd al-Rahmán III, caliph of the Muslims, he consummated his glorious martyrdom by being torn apart with pincers (925). "
Martyr in Cordoba, Spain. Also called Pelayo.
 Feast : June 26

The 26th of June marks the traditional—and modern—liturgical feast day of this courageous young saint. In the traditional Roman Breviary, at the morning hour of Prime on 25 June, the brief but moving Martyrologium reading (which always mentions the glorious martyrs celebrated on the following day) states the following: Cordubæ, in Hispania, natalis sancti Pelagii adolescentuli, qui, ob confessionem fidei, Regis Saracenorum Abdarameni jussu forcipibus ferreis membratim præcisus, martyrium suum gloriose consummavit / “At Córdoba, in Spain, [in the tenth century,] the holy child Pelagius, who crowned his confession of the faith with a glorious martyrdom, by being torn to pieces with iron pincers, by order of Abdu’l-Rahman, King of the Saracens.”
In our trying times of today, when we see our cities attacked once again by Muslim forces, and when Christians, especially in the Middle-East, including young children, are tortured with such diabolical cruelty by extremist Islamists and beheaded; when the overwhelming influence and temptations of a world gone mad with all sorts of sexual disorder and immorality press around us, all Catholics, especially young ones, should be able to take heart by procuring the blessed intercession of St. Pelagius, this young Christian boy, this noble martyr from tenth century Spain.
Through his steadfastness in purity and faith, St. Pelagius was set free from all bondage and brought home to Heaven in triumph. Instead of walking in the rose-garden of Abdurrahman, the Moorish Caliph of Córdoba, he walks in the unfading garden of the King of Kings, crowned for ever with the roses of his precious martyrdom, as the psalmist (115 Vulgate) says: Pretiosa in conspectu Domini, mors sanctorum eius / “Precious in the sight of the Lord, is the death of his saints.”

US Bishops' cover up of Bernardin's sexually assaulted a young man, criminally assisted by McCarrick

McCarrick' sexual abuse victim testifies that 'Cardinal' (homosexual predator) Joseph Bernardin also sexually assaulted him, assisted by Predator McCarrick.

Nick Donnelly: The Dam About to Burst about the US Bishops' cover up of Bernardin's homosexual abuse of a 19 year old young man, criminally assisted by McCarrick

TRANSCRIPT
the Vortex Since Church Militant aired our special report last week on Chicago Cardinal Blase Cupich failing to report a case of sexual abuse of a minor involving his predecessor, Chicago Cardinal Joseph Bernardin, we have received numerous contacts with much more information.
The Chicago archdiocese for the past 30 years has been able to keep the wraps on Bernardin's evil with a series of threats, payouts and cover-ups — that is, until now.
For the first time ever, one of Bernardin's sexual assault victims is going public about his abuse at the hands of the homosexual cardinal.
He is on the record — and is none other than the same victim of Cardinal Theodore McCarrick whose testimony last summer brought down that homopredator.

Luke 8:17 For nothing is hidden that will not be disclosed, nor is anything secret that will not become known and come to light.

Chapter 15

The Special Case of Joseph Cardinal Bernardin

"It is a fact that Bernardin's accuser (Cook) did not ever retract his allegations of abuse by anyone's account other than Bernardin's," said Sipe. He also told the audience that the Chicago Archdiocese's pay off to Cook before he died of AIDS was in the $3 million range...
The Cook case, as we shall see, was not the first time that Bernardin's name had come up in connection with homosexual activities and sex abuse scandals some of which involved occult practices.

Alleged Predator Bans Journalist George Neumayr From National Shrine

by Stephen Wynne  •  ChurchMilitant.com  •  June 24, 2019

Msgr. Walter Rossi slaps Catholic author with five-year Basilica ban

WASHINGTON (ChurchMilitant.com) - Investigative journalist George Neumayr has been banned from the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception in Washington, D.C.
On Sunday, Basilica rector Msgr. Walter Rossi barred Neumayr — a faithful Catholic — from the church for a period of five years, ostensibly owing to "inappropriate behavior."
As a result of his investigation into homosexual corruption in the D.C. archdiocese, last year, Neumayr landed on Rossi's "Most Wanted" list, an internal memo instructing Basilica security officers to notify police if he set foot on Church property. After spotting Neumayr at Sunday's Mass and Corpus Christi procession, Rossi's security detail did just that.
Speaking to Church Militant on Monday, Neumayr recounted, "I noticed that a number of the security guards were casting meaningful glances at me, and at one point I think one of them recognized that I appear on that security watch poster, and I think then they called the higher-ups at the Basilica and I think that's what set the removal in motion."

"I was actually surprised that they would go to the trouble of removing me and thereby drawing more attention to Rossi, who's an open sore in the D.C. archdiocese — he doesn't need any more bad publicity," he continued. "This is just a classic example of how the gay mafia operates, you know. Those who live in darkness fear the light — even a small journalistic one."
Writing in The American Spectator after the incident, Neumayr recalled security officers "called the police, who turned up near Rossi's Lexus in his special parking spot near the Basilica's doors. ... But it was left to the director of security to do the deed."
Monsignor Rossi is, without a doubt, a member of the 'gay mafia.'Tweet
Security chief Valencia Camp met Neumayr outside the Basilica, telling him: "You are barred from the Basilica ... for five years."
Camp added that the "bar notice is with the Metropolitan Police." When pressed as to the grounds for the ban, she refused to answer, telling Neumayr, "I need you off the property."
Before leaving, Neumayr asked if Basilica policy includes banning journalists. Camp replied: "When their behavior is inappropriate."
On Monday, Church Militant contacted the Basilica with the following questions:
  1. For what specific reasons is George Neumayr banned from the basilica for a span of five years? The security told him it was for "inappropriate behavior" but failed to specify.
  2. Critics say Msgr. Rossi's ban of a member of the media from the church shows a lack of transparency and an attempt to censor a journalist who reported on him. What is his response to this?
  3. Does Msgr. Rossi deny that Abp. Carlo Maria Viganò, as papal nuncio, received complaints that he sexually harassed students and seminarians?
  4. Where did Msgr. Rossi get the money to purchase a condo on Galt Ocean Mile for $470,000?
  5. Where did Msgr. Rossi get the money to purchase a Lexus?
  6. For the sake of transparency, is Msgr. Rossi willing to disclose his annual salary, plus perquisites and benefits? If so, how much total does he make?
  7. In light of Viganò's claims and other media revelations, some critics say Msgr. Rossi should step down from the Board of Trustees of Catholic University of America to spare them further embarrassment and scandal. Will he do so?
Monsignor Rossi failed to answer Church Militant's questions. Instead, Basilica Communications Director Jacquelyn Hayes offered the following statement:
Following protocols initiated several years ago when Mr. Neumayr received a barring notice for disrupting business activities, he was asked to leave following the Corpus Christi Mass and Procession. All Catholics and non-Catholics alike, including Mr. Neumayr, are welcome to take part in the liturgy so long as they don't disrupt Shrine activities or threaten visitors and staff.
The ban (illegal under canon law) comes just months after Neumayr outed Rossi as an alleged predator of seminarians — an accusation confirmed by Abp. Viganò earlier this month.

"Monsignor Rossi is, without a doubt, a member of the 'gay mafia,'" said Abp. Viganò.

"I can say that, while I was a nuncio in the United States, I received the documentation that states that Msgr. Rossi had sexually molested male students at the Catholic University of America," the archbishop noted. "The Vatican, in particular Cdl. [Pietro] Parolin, is well aware of the situation of Msgr. Rossi, as is Cdl. Wuerl."
"I can finally testify that Rossi's name was proposed for promotion to my predecessor, Archbishop Pietro Sambi, who blocked his progress," Viganò added. "These facts clearly show how the 'gay mafia' operates."
In his Sunday American Spectator article, Neumayr added to the archbishop's observations:
Rossi is a protégé of two confirmed frauds and out-of-control gay clericalists, Michael Bransfield and Theodore McCarrick. He learned at their knees how to treat the Basilica as his personal fiefdom. Because Rossi sees the Church's "property" as his own, he feels no hesitation in violating the canonical rights of a Catholic simply because he doesn't want to be questioned by him about Viganò's charges and other sordid matters.
Neumayr noted that for now, Rossi is shielded by homosexual/homosexualist fellow travelers within the hierarchy, "which preaches poverty by day and practices decadence by night."

"Pope Francis goes on and on about 'self-interested clericalism' then protects and promotes its most obvious practitioners," he added. "The McCarrick-Bransfield-Rossi triumvirate, with its beach houses, boy toys, and ballooning bank accounts, resembled nothing less than self-interested clericalism on steroids."

Father John F. O'Connor warned about Card. Bernardin and was punished

Chicago Cardinal Blaise Cupich kept secret series of documents revealing that the late Chicago Cardinal Joseph Bernardin, a hardcore Modernist, was reported to have abused minors, male seminarians and other adults. According to Church Militant, citing anonymous sources, Cupich who owes his career to Cardinal McCarrick, is now being investigated by state authorities because he failed to reveal these facts. Not surprisingly, Pope Francis chose Cupich as the head of the February abuse summit in the Vatican.

The documents obtained by Church Militant reveal that the Chicago Archdiocese, then Pro-Nuncio to the United States, Archbishop Cacciavillan, and the Vatican Secretary of State were informed of the allegations against Bernardin. But the Vatican didn’t open an inquiry, also because Bernardin was protected by the liberal oligarch media. Commentators on gloria.tv who studied in Rome confirm that Bernardin's pajama parties for young priests were well known. Even Gloria.tv’s Father Reto Nay heard at the time about them.

The American Dominican, Father John F. O'Connor, revealed already in the early 90's Bernardine's sexual abuses. As a result, O'Connor was dismissed from the Dominican order and suspended because - quote – "he harmed the reputation of the Central Province, the whole Dominican Order and the Church with his accusations against Bernardin." His superiors even wanted to force him to undergo a psychiatric treatment, but O’Connor refused. Obviously, his revelations were also ignored by the oligarch media who at the time were promoting sexual contacts between adults and minors.

Bernardin was the leading modernist in the U.S. He was in charge of the assignment of bishops during many years of the pontificate of John Paul II. Church Militant concludes that the Catholic Church in America, as it is now constituted, was designed and engineered by not one but two homosexuals, Cardinal McCarrick and Cardinal Bernardin. They promoted many corrupt priests to the episcopacy. Many of them are still serving in senior posts.

One year ago, Gloria.tv reported that the Vatican Secretary of State, Cardinal Pietro Parolin called Bernardin during a Mass in the Italian home-town of his parents, "the great Joseph Bernardin." Parolin went on claiming that Bernardin was a "great shepherd but then, above all, he suffered so much."

Priest remembered as an early whistleblower

By Matt C. Abbott

Dominican Father John O'Connor died on Dec. 7, 2006 of complications from a cardiac arrest.

I thought it would be fitting to print the following excerpt from chapter 16 ("Homosexuality in Religious Orders") of Randy Engel's The Rite of Sodomy — Homosexuality and the Roman Catholic Church.

Father John O'Connor — A Life of Faith, Devotion and Courage

John F. O'Connor was born and raised in Chicago. He entered the Dominican Order in 1949. After completing a one-year novitiate in Winona, Minn., he went to the River Forest House of Studies for three years and later to St. Rose Priory in Dubuque. He was ordained in Oakland, Calif., in 1955.

Immediately afterwards, Father O'Connor began his long career as a Dominican preacher, first as a parish priest, then as a college professor of theology and philosophy. From 1969 to 1989, he was part of the Dominican Mission Band and preached throughout the United States, England and Canada. The Blessed Virgin Mary and the Rosary were prominent themes in his Mission work. In the late 1980s, he found himself once again at home at the magnificent St. Dominic and St. Thomas Priory in River Forest in the Central Province of Chicago. His Provincial Superior was none other than Father Donald Goergen.

As a faithful son of St. Dominic, O'Connor never had any difficulties with his superiors until Goergen arrived on the scene. Goergen wanted O'Connor out.

In a conversation with O'Connor in April 1986, Father Lex Goedert, the Prior at River Forest, let it slip that Goergen was going to suspend O'Connor on some pretext or another. By this time, O'Connor, due in part to his long association with Dominican Father Charles Corcoran, had become a nationally recognized opponent of the Homosexual Collective in AmChurch and in his own Dominican Order.

The fireworks began in March 1987 when Father Charles Fanelli, the pastor of St. John Baptist Vianney Church in Northlake, Ill., asked O'Connor to give a weeklong Mission at his church.

A woman who attended all of O'Connor's talks said that his powerful preaching at the mission had parishioners lining up the isles for confession and that the crowds grew larger every night. Fanelli considered the event to be a great success.

Not everyone, however, was favorably impressed with O'Connor's preaching.

At the next parish council meeting in April at St. John Vianney, the members were informed that complaints against O'Connor's preaching had been lodged with Joseph Cardinal Bernardin, Archbishop of Chicago. When O'Connor attempted to get copies of the complaints, Bernardin refused to send them to him.

On May 4, 1987, Goergen, in the company of another Dominican, Father Jim Marchionda, visited O'Connor at River Forest to discuss the complaints. During a heated confrontation, O'Connor told Goergen that Cochran had witnessed Goergen sodomizing a fellow Dominican. O'Connor reported that Goergen told him, "Homosexuality is becoming more acceptable now," and let the subject drop.

O'Connor decided to go on the offensive. On May 13, 1987, he sent Goergen a letter questioning the financial irregularities of the Province, especially in connection with the St. Jude Thaddeus Shrine operated by the Dominicans on the South side of Chicago. O'Connor made specific reference to Father "Chuck" Dahm, a member of Goergen's coterie, who had allegedly been draining the treasury of thousands of dollars to finance various left-wing political causes. O'Connor asked for an independent audit of the Province's and St. Jude's financial records.

On July 22, 1987, Goergen sent O'Connor a return salvo. Goergen told O'Connor, in response to the latter's request for a transfer, that he had no intention of reassigning him to another Province. Goergen repeated his demand that O'Connor moderate his preaching, stop mentioning people by name in his talks (especially Bernardin) and stop frightening people with verbal excesses.

Goergen stated that he wanted O'Connor to sign a letter of apology to the disgruntled parishioners at St. John Vianney who had complained to Bernardin. O'Connor, who had been physically attacked by the husband of one of the complainants, responded they were lucky he was not suing them for assault and battery. On November 3, 1987, Goergen ordered all communications between O'Connor and parties involved in the parish incident to cease.

Goergen needed a new line of attack.

On December 2, 1987, one month after O'Connor had returned from a successful speaking engagement in South Dakota, Goergen informed O'Connor that he wanted him to visit a psychological counselor. O'Connor said no dice. Goergen backed off. It was back to the drawing board.

In early 1988, Goergen made another visitation to O'Connor at River Forest. This time the Provincial stated he wanted O'Connor to stop "isolating" himself from his community of brothers. He also stated that the head of the Province of St. Joseph in New York had requested O'Connor not to enter his domain. O'Connor agreed with the latter, but said that his special dietary and health problems mitigated against his taking meals in common with his fellow Dominicans.

In April 1988, O'Connor, who had maintained contact with the Holy See on his problems with Goergen, was advised by the Congregation for Religious and Secular Institutes in Rome to obey his superior (Goergen) and, if all else fails, to consult with and follow the advice of the Dominican Master General in Rome.

O'Connor decided not to seek exclaustration. He would stay and fight.

The rest of the year remained relatively uneventful. O'Connor, as directed, limited his preaching to the confines of his own Central Province. However, much to Goergen's consternation, O'Connor's anti-Modernist tapes, which included a section against the Homosexual Collective in the Church, continued to gain greater nationwide circulation.

On March 31, 1989, O'Connor was advised that the Provincial Council of St. Albert the Great had issued an order forbidding O'Connor to preach — anywhere. The Council also recommended that he undergo a psycho-medical evaluation.

In a letter of June 13, 1989, O'Connor responded by asking Goergen if he (Goergen) was willing to repent of his homosexual life. The letter was the proverbial straw that broke the camel's back. Two days later, Goergen notified O'Connor that his suspension was fully in effect.

On February 22, 1990, after more than 40 years in the Dominican Order, O'Connor was informed by Goergen that the process of his formal dismissal from the order had begun under Canon 696. Fifteen days later, a second warning was sent to O'Connor and formal charges against him were transmitted to the Master General in Rome.

Goergen accused O'Connor of giving "grave scandal" by his written allegations against a member of the hierarchy (Bernardin) and against his Dominican brothers (Benedict Ashley, William Bernacki, Peter Witchousky and Donald Goergen).

In February 1990, O'Connor received a letter from Master General Rev. Damian Byrne in Rome (Prot. 35/90/10) stating that O'Connor had harmed the reputation of the Central Province, the whole Dominican Order and the Church with his accusations against Bernardin and his brother Dominicans.

Byrne ordered O'Connor to engage in a period of prayer and reflection beginning February 20, 1990. He also ordered O'Connor to check himself into the psycho-ward at the Guadeloupe Center in Cherry Valley, Calif. O'Connor refused.

In the meantime, O'Connor had hired a canon lawyer to plead his dismissal from the Dominican Order in Rome, but to no avail [columnist's note: O'Connor's canon lawyer was the late Father Alfred Kunz, whose 1998 murder remains unsolved]. Additional appeals to the Pope went nowhere.

In the summer of 1991, Rome informed O'Connor that he was dismissed from the Dominicans. O'Connor packed his bags and left the River Forest Priory forever.

On Ash Wednesday, February 28, 1990, O'Connor wrote: "When I made my vow of obedience 40 years ago, it was first and foremost to Jesus Christ, His Mother and St. Dominic and in obedience to them only death will silence my witnessing to the Truth."

Francis Does Not Believe in Christ's Multiplication of Loaves

Galatians 1 As we have said before, so now I repeat, if anyone proclaims to you a gospel contrary to what you received, let that one be accursed!

“Y me viene a la mente decir algo que puede ser una insensatez, o quizás una herejía, no sé.”

en.news The Gospel of the multiplication of the loaves (Luke 9,16) does “not mention the multiplication as such,” Pope Francis said in his June 23 Corpus Christi homily.

According to Francis, it emphasizes not the multiplication but the words “break”, “give” and “distribute” and therefore “the act of sharing,” although this concept is never mentioned.

Francis went on pontificating that Christ did “not change five loaves into five thousand to then to announce: ‘There! Distribute them!’” Rather, it’s the five loaves that never run out, Francis suggests.

However, the fact that twelve baskets of broken pieces were left over (Lk 9,17) implies that there was a multiplication. So many leftovers cannot be explained with the claim that the five loaves "never ran out."

John 6:14 Now those men, when they had seen what a miracle Jesus had done, said: This is of a truth the prophet, that is to come into the world.

St. John Chrysostom:

"What excuse shall he have, what mercy can be hoped for, who corrupts the adorable and ineffable dogmas of our faith?"

Zanchetta Allowed to Return to Vatican “for employment reasons.”

en.news An Argentinean judge authorized former Orán Bishop Gustavo Zanchetta who is accused of homosexual molestations, to return to the Vatican “for employment reasons.”

This justification was given despite the fact that Zanchetta is suspended from his functions at the Roman Curia, at least according to Pope Francis whose words are not always reliable.

According to ElTribuno.com (June 21) Zanchetta will have to be back in Argentina for an August 8 court appearance.

Bergoglio admitted that he knew about Zanchetta but still promoted him
