Meménto, homo, quia pulvis es, et in púlverem revertéris.

Remember, man, that thou art dust, and unto dust thou shalt return.

Almighty God! I unite myself at the beginning of this holy season of penance with the Church militant, endeavoring to make these really days of sorrow for my sins and crucifixion of the sensual man. O Lord Jesus! in union with Thy fasting and passion, I offer Thee my fasting in obedience to the Church, for Thy honor, and in thanksgiving for the many favors I have received, in satisfaction for mine and others’ sins, and that I may receive the grace to avoid the sin of _________, and to practise the virtue of __________.

The persecution of Christians carried out by the Beast and its offspring is biblical (Revelation 12:17), for God placed enmity between the serpent and the woman, and between its offspring and ours (Genesis 3:15). Bergoglio’s hatred for God, the Church, and Tradition dates back to his time in Argentina. So much so that Bergoglio was nicknamed the 7 plagues of Egypt for the Church of Argentina. Saint Paul teaches in 1 Corinthians 11:19 that dissensions are necessary so that those approved by God may be revealed.

Prevost did not inherit a "crisis"; rather, he is part of the apostasy of his infamous mentor Bergoglio—part of the anti-Christian army waging war against God—which is something very different. Refusing to see reality means being under a diabolical spell. Let us begin with the irrefutable fact that Benedict did not resign from the papacy; there was a flaw in the resignation—whether involuntary or voluntary—that rendered it invalid. Consequently, there was no apostolic succession, and we are facing yet another false pope who openly defies God and the Church—one who acts against the faith and against morality. Against the faith: he promotes the heresy of religious indifferentism under the guise of "ecumenism"; he profanes the priesthood and the papacy by recognizing the elevation of a female Lutheran heretic as legitimate; he calls a mosque—where the false god Allah is worshipped—a "sacred place"; and from the very beginning of his sacrilegious, apostate priesthood, he has offered worship to Pachamama, allowed himself to be subjected to a shamanic ritual, etc. Against Catholic morality: he approves of adultery (*Amoris Laetitia*) and sodomy (*Fiducia Supplicans*). He promotes the sacrilegious pseudo-canonization of an apostate, corrupting 'bishop' who engaged in acts of sexual immorality with indigenous children; he stubbornly elevates homosexual activists to the rank of bishop to corrupt the dioceses; he supports a homosexual chef in a civil "marriage" and gay adoption, etc. Prevost defies God and scorns the Church founded by Christ, desiring instead a synodal church fabricated by men. No Catholic will have the excuse of ignorance regarding the flagrant rebellion against God by Robert Prevost, alias Pope Leo XIV.

The proper valuing of the things of earth: God has given us this world as a place of exile, and not as our abiding place:
The things of earth cannot be understood or valued aright without taking into consideration the life to come, the life that will know no death. Exclude the idea of futurity, and forthwith the very notion of what is good and right would perish; nay, the whole scheme of the universe would become a dark and unfathomable mystery. The great truth which we learn from nature herself is also the grand Christian dogma on which religion rests as on its foundation – that, when we have given up this present life, then shall we really begin to live. God has not created us for the perishable and transitory things of earth, but for things heavenly and everlasting; He has given us this world as a place of exile, and not as our abiding place. Saint John Chrysostom, in Saint Thomas Aquinas's *Catena Aurea*, explains that tolerating offenses against God constitutes the pinnacle of impiety.
In Scripture, impiety is a serious sin that is closely related to idolatry and contempt for God. It is considered such a serious sin that it is frequently described as an abomination. Impiety (ungodliness) includes idol worship, idolatry, bearing false witness, lying, blasphemy, and immoral conduct. The Sin of Impiety is a sin of Malice. The Sin of Malice is considered a sin of Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
Saint Thomas Aquinas (1225-1274) Commenting upon Saint Paul’s Epistle to the Romans (1:26-27), Saint Thomas Aquinas, the Angelic Doctor, explains why the sin of homosexuality is so grave: "Given the sin of impiety through which they [the Romans] sinned against the divine nature [by idolatry], the punishment that led them to sin against their own nature followed.... I say, therefore, that since they changed into lies [by idolatry] the truth about God, He brought them to ignominious passions, that is, to sins against nature; not that God led them to evil, but only that he abandoned them to evil.... "If all the sins of the flesh are worthy of condemnation because by them man allows himself to be dominated by that which he has of the animal nature, much more deserving of condemnation are the sins against nature by which man degrades his own animal nature....

Pope Leo XIII's Rerum Novarum (1891) addresses the social implications of industrialization and the role of women in society. He states that "women are not suited for certain occupations," emphasizing that "a woman is by nature fitted for home-work, and it is that which is best adapted at once to preserve her modesty and to promote the good bringing up of children and the well-being of the family." This reflects the Pope's views on the traditional roles of women in the home and the importance of family responsibilities

The Church's ultimate trial 675 Before Christ's second coming the Church must pass through a final trial that will shake the faith of many believers. The persecution that accompanies her pilgrimage on earth will unveil the "mystery of iniquity" in the form of a religious deception offering men an apparent solution to their problems at the price of apostasy from the truth. The supreme religious deception is that of the Antichrist, a pseudo-messianism by which man glorifies himself in place of God and of his Messiah come in the flesh.

Please protect us, St. Michael the Archangel, against violence, murder, and robbery. In your goodness preserve us today from all the malice of sinful and wicked persons. In your sleepless vigilance watch over the safety and welfare of our homes, and keep guard over our possessions. Ever hold in your special care, most triumphant St. Michael, the forces of public order against the crimes of evil people, and defend all honest citizens in time of peril. Saint Michael the Archangel, loyal champion of God and His Catholic people, I turn to thee with confidence and seek thy powerful intercession. St John Chrysostom

Our Lord having reproached the Jews with blindness, they might have said, We are not blind, but we avoid you as a deceiver. Our Lord therefore gives the marks which distinguish a robber and deceiver from a true shepherd. First come those of the deceiver and robber: Verily, verily, I say to you, He that enters not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbs up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber. There is an allusion here to Antichrist, and to certain false Christs who had been, and were to be. The Scriptures He calls the door. They admit us to the knowledge of God, they protect the sheep, they shut out the wolves, they bar the entrance to heretics. He that uses not the Scriptures, but climbs up some other way, i.e. some self-chosen, some unlawful way, is a thief. Climbs up, He says, not, enters, as if it were a thief getting over a wall, and running all risks. Some other way, may refer too to the commandments and traditions of men which the Scribes taught, to the neglect of the Law. When our Lord further on calls Himself the Door, we need not be surprised. According to the office which He bears, He is in one place the Shepherd, in another the Sheep. In that He introduces us to the Father, He is the Door, in that He takes care of us, He is the Shepherd. 35. And as to tolerance, it is surprising how far removed from the equity and prudence of the Church are those who profess what is called liberalism. For, in allowing that boundless license of which We have spoken, they exceed all limits, and end at last by making no apparent distinction between truth and error, honesty and dishonesty. And because the Church, the pillar and ground of truth, and the unerring teacher of morals, is forced utterly to reprobate and condemn tolerance of such an abandoned and criminal character, they calumniate her as being wanting in patience and gentleness, and thus fail to see that, in so doing, they impute to her as a fault what is in reality a matter for commendation. St. Vincent Ferrer -- Sermon on the Last Judgment: In the same way, in the time of Antichrist, the Sun of justice will be obscured by the interposition of temporal goods and the wealth which Antichrist will bestow on the world, inasmuch as the brightness of faith in Jesus Christ and the glow of good lives will no longer shine among Christians. For, lest they should lose their dominion, temporal rulers, kings and princes will range themselves on the side of Antichrist. In like manner, prelates for fear of losing their dignities, and religious and priests to gain honors and riches, will forsake the Faith of Christ and adhere to Antichrist.

Neither living nor lifeless faith remains in a heretic who disbelieves one article of faith. The reason of this is that the species of every habit depends on the formal aspect of the object, without which the species of the habit cannot remain. Now the formal object of faith is the First Truth, as manifested in Holy Writ and the teaching of the Church, which proceeds from the First Truth. Consequently whoever does not adhere, as to an infallible and Divine rule, to the teaching of the Church, which proceeds from the First Truth manifested in Holy Writ, has not the habit of faith, but holds that which is of faith otherwise than by faith. Even so, it is evident that a man whose mind holds a conclusion without knowing how it is proved, has not scientific knowledge, but merely an opinion about it. Now it is manifest that he who adheres to the teaching of the Church, as to an infallible rule, assents to whatever the Church teaches; otherwise, if, of the things taught by the Church, he holds what he chooses to hold, and rejects what he chooses to reject, he no longer adheres to the teaching of the Church as to an infallible rule, but to his own will. Hence it is evident that a heretic who obstinately disbelieves one article of faith, is not prepared to follow the teaching of the Church in all things; but if he is not obstinate, he is no longer in heresy but only in error. Therefore it is clear that such a heretic with regard to one article has no faith in the other articles, but only a kind of opinion in accordance with his own will. (Saint Thomas Aquinas.
