Homosexual Bishop Zanchetta Granted Release in Argentina

Monsignor Zanchetta, a close confidant of Pope Francis and the former bishop of Orán, was released today by the Argentine judiciary, according to IlTempo.it.

In 2022, Bishop Zanchetta was sentenced to four years and six months in prison for repeatedly abusing two seminarians. The crimes were classified as aggravated due to his position of authority.

Zanchetta appealed against his conviction, claiming bias due to his homosexuality. However, the court rejected this argument as 'contrary to reality', detailing the abusive acts.

The prelate spent much of his time under house arrest in monasteries rather than in prison. In November 2024, he was permitted to travel to Rome for medical treatment, resulting in an eight-month stay in Italy.

Local Orán courts consistently denied Zanchetta's petitions for house arrest, travel to Rome and parole, but the Salta Court of Appeal ruled in his favour on each occasion.

This Court of Appeals has now granted him conditional freedom. He remains under supervision and must meet requirements set by the court such as reporting regularly.

Monsignor Zanchetta was one of Francis’s first episcopal appointments in 2013. Allegations of homosexual abuse emerged as early as 2015. He resigned in 2017, citing health reasons. Subsequently, Francis created a role for him in the Vatican’s financial office (APSA).

Let us remember that one of the duties of the true prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith is to handle cases of sexual abuse. But Bergoglio, in an act of revenge against the Church, appointed a homosexual man as prefect—someone who had been investigated by the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith and who, while in Argentina, covered up sexual abuses in his diocese. And Prevost continues to allow him to usurp that position.

Bergoglio protected the homosexual sexual predator Zanchetta even while he was in prison (under house/monasteries arrest), as he never initiated a process to have him secularized and cease being a priest. This was despite the pleas of the victims to Bergoglio.
But out of revenge, Bergoglio did indeed expel many priests from the priesthood for opposing his rebellion against God and the Church, such as Father Pavone and other priests who were "canceled"; he expelled them out of vengeance, without any possibility of appeal.
In Argentina, dioceses continue to pay salaries to pedophile priests who are in prison, such as the convicted homosexual pedophile Julio César Grassi, against whom Bergoglio also did not initiate any canonical proceedings. He remains a priest and it was discovered that he continued to receive a salary from the diocese while in prison. If Prevost does not initiate a secularization process against both of them, he will continue to cover up their crimes. And this will once again prove that, like Bergoglio, Prevost is covering up the gay mafia that has infiltrated the Church.
