The gay lobby resorts to any method to defend and cover up its allies, using insults and attacking the teachings of the Church, or targeting faithful Catholics (pro-life), all due to a lack of solid arguments.
Senator Dick Durbin supported partial-birth abortion and LGBT ideology.
To justify Cupich's evil actions to honor radical pro-abortion, pro-LGBT Democrat senator, Prevost begins by lying.
“I am not terribly familiar with the particular case. I think it’s important to look at the overall work that a senator has done during, if I’m not mistaken, in 40 years of service in the United States Senate,” Prevost told reporters on Tuesday in response to a question from EWTN News.
Prevost continued his response: “I understand the difficulty and the tensions. But I think as I myself have spoken in the past, it’s important to look at many issues that are related to the teachings of the Church.”
“Someone who says I’m against abortion but is in favor of the death penalty is not really pro-life, someone who says I’m against abortion but I’m in agreement with the inhuman treatment of immigrants in the United States, I don’t know if that’s pro life.”
Since Senator Dick Durbin is from Illinois, Prevost should know him well as he is a prominent public figure in his state. Furthermore, Durbin anti-Catholic agenda is well-known, and it is also public knowledge that he was excommunicated twice by his bishop.
- Robert Prevost, born in Chicago, Illinois, served as Provincial Prior in Chicago from 1999 to 2013.
- Richard Joseph Durbin (born in East St. Louis, Illinois) is an American politician and attorney serving as the senior United States senator from the state of Illinois, a seat he has held since 1997. This is his fifth term in the Senate.
Durbin has been barred from receiving Communion in his home diocese in Springfield, Illinois, since 2004, a ban that was reaffirmed in 2018.
Bishop Paprocki: “I was shocked to learn that the Archdiocese of Chicago plans to honor Senator Richard Durbin with a Lifetime Achievement Award through its Office of Human Dignity and Solidarity Immigration. Given Senator Durbin’s long and consistent record of supporting legal abortion — including opposing legislation to protect children who survive failed abortions — this decision risks causing grave scandal, confusing the faithful about the Church’s unequivocal teaching on the sanctity of human life.
Fr. Pavone told LifeNews, “Since U.S. Sen. Dick Durbin was elected in 1996 to serve the people of Illinois, he has supported every pro-abortion initiative to reach the Senate floor and voted against any bill that would protect the unborn, their mothers and the rights of parents of minor girls.” In 2004, the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops issued a statement called Catholics in Political Life. In it, they said they should never do something like Cardinal Cupich has done. They wrote,
“The Catholic community and Catholic institutions should not honor those who act in defiance of our fundamental moral principles. They should not be given awards, honors or platforms which would suggest support for their actions.”
And why did Roberto Prevost, like Cupich and Bergoglio, overlook the inhumane cruelty of the death penalty promoted by this apostate senator, specifically through infanticide, also known as partial-birth abortion, which condemns an innocent child to death while still in his mother's womb?
Secondly, Jesus Christ himself taught that it is preferable for anyone who causes moral harm to children to receive the death penalty. Saint Thomas also taught on the legitimacy of capital punishment.

Romans 1:32
Although they are fully cognizant of God’s decree that those who behave in this way deserve to die, they not only do these things themselves but also praise all those who engage in such conduct.
Just as God warned Adam and Eve that they would die if they disobeyed Him, so too, in the New Testament, St. Paul warns that those who indulge in the vices of homosexuality, transsexuality, adultery, idolatry, etc., will suffer eternal death.
And this new divine warning of the punishment of death is no longer temporary, but eternal.
Therefore, St. Paul warns us that we must not be deceived by those who, like the cunning serpent, contradict God and rebel against him, who maliciously preach a false gospel to mislead people, causing them to stubbornly persist in sin and rebel against God's natural law, thus leading these unrepentant souls to eternal damnation.
Third point Saint Thomas Aquinas taught that states have the right to regulate immigration, but Prevost fails to mention that Bergoglio imposed stricter policies with penalties of up to five years in prison and fines of up to 25,000 euros for those who violate Vatican immigration laws. Currently, the Vatican has the strictest immigration policies in Europe.
Michael Haynes 🇻🇦@MLJHaynes:
Pope Francis criticized @realDonaldTrump's border policy But in December, the Vatican quietly established a base penalty of between 1 and 4 years in prison and a fine of 10,000 to 25,000 euros for anyone who illegally enters the Vatican City state.
Fourth Point. Like Judas, these traitors sell Christ and the Church for a few silver coins.
Durbin is a senior member of the Senate Appropriations Committee, which controls how federal funds are allocated.
The website Complicit Clergy reported Jan. 25 that since 2009, Catholic agencies have received $5.2 billion from the federal government for immigration projects. The Biden Administration distributed more than half of that total: $2.9 billion. Catholic Charities obtained $2.61 billion, with the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops getting $1.58 billion. Of that last figure, $1.55 billion went to the archdiocese of Washington, D.C. — where the USCCB has its headquarters.
One of the Catholic agencies receiving USAID funds was Caritas Internationalis, an international charity based in and governed by the Vatican. In July, the agency embezzled $67 million from its Luxembourg branch.
Finally, Bergoglio and Prevost have endorsed Cupich's apostasy.
When Cupich turned 75, he submitted his mandatory letter of resignation, but Bergoglio did not accept it, nor has his friend, compatriot, and former classmate Robert Prevost.
Phil Lawler: If Cardinal Cupich cannot explain the Church’s teaching on the dignity of human life, he should not be a metropolitan archbishop. (And as a matter of fact, since he is over the age of 75, his resignation should already be on the Pope’s desk.)
Describing the formation of homosexual cliques of clergy Fr. Oko says:
They know well, however, that they may be exposed and embarrassed, so they shield one another by offering mutual support. They build informal relationships reminding of a clique or even mafia, aim at holding particularly those positions which offer power and money.
When they achieve a decision-making position, they try to promote and advance mostly those whose nature is similar to theirs, or at least who are known to be too weak to oppose them.
Fr. Oko said, "Just like in the military, in the police, in the art world, once a person with homosexual tendencies gets into power, usually their subordinates are also homosexuals, therefore they start creating a pyramid, and the same thing is happening in the Church with these bishops who knowingly nominate people with the same tendencies."
"Another kind of lawful slaying belongs to the civil authorities.... The just use of this power, far from involving the crime of murder, is an act of paramount obedience to this [Fifth] Commandment which prohibits murder." --Catechism of the Council of Trent
