She was Marulanda's mistress—he was more than 30 years her senior—but she maintained that it was not a problem for her.

She became the radio operator and secretary for the top FARC leader, Manuel Marulanda.

Following the "peace agreement," she obtained her high school diploma in May 2017 and—with total impunity and without paying for her crimes against humanity—assumed the office of senator the following year, at the age of 53.

Griselda Lobo aka Sandra Ramírez announced that she would officially change her name from Griselda Lobo to Sandra Lobo, and later announced that she had changed it to Sandra Ramírez— "Sandra" was her alias as a guerrilla fighter; later, in Cuba, she began using the surname Ramírez, which she had chosen at random.

In Scripture, impiety is a serious sin that is closely related to idolatry and contempt for God. It is considered such a serious sin that it is frequently described as an abomination. Impiety (ungodliness) includes idol worship, idolatry, bearing false witness, lying, blasphemy, and immoral conduct. The Sin of Impiety is a sin of Malice. The Sin of Malice is considered a sin of Blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.

Neither living nor lifeless faith remains in a heretic who disbelieves one article of faith. The reason of this is that the species of every habit depends on the formal aspect of the object, without which the species of the habit cannot remain. Now the formal object of faith is the First Truth, as manifested in Holy Writ and the teaching of the Church, which proceeds from the First Truth. Consequently whoever does not adhere, as to an infallible and Divine rule, to the teaching of the Church, which proceeds from the First Truth manifested in Holy Writ, has not the habit of faith, but holds that which is of faith otherwise than by faith.
