While Petro and Iván used the Colombian flag in their political campaign, Abelardo is now forbidden from doing so.
In contrast, the communist "Historic Pact" *is* allowed to use the Colombian flag for political campaigning and share the photo on its social media.
Nor do they care that Petro supporters burn the Colombian flag and that Petro waves the M-19 guerrilla flag.
Petro’s dictatorial judicial system in Colombia—characteristic of a communist regime—is also attempting to censor Abelardo over the military salute
The military salute is not unique to Colombia, and historians suggest it dates back to ancient Rome, where it was known as *salutatio militaris*.
Also abusing the law, they want to censor the name of their movement: Defenders of the Homeland. And the slogan: Steadfast for the Homeland.
