the Vortex Since Church Militant aired our special report last week on Chicago Cardinal Blase Cupich failing to report a case of sexual abuse of a minor involving his predecessor, Chicago Cardinal Joseph Bernardin, we have received numerous contacts with much more information.

The Chicago archdiocese for the past 30 years has been able to keep the wraps on Bernardin's evil with a series of threats, payouts and cover-ups — that is, until now.

For the first time ever, one of Bernardin's sexual assault victims is going public about his abuse at the hands of the homosexual cardinal.

He is on the record — and is none other than the same victim of Cardinal Theodore McCarrick whose testimony last summer brought down that homopredator.

Francis' New Heresy: Jesus "Becomes Bread”

en.news The Eucharist is “Jesus who becomes bread,” and contains the "entire reality of the Church,” Pope Francis claimed in his June 23 Corpus Christi homily.

He went on alleging that we find in the Eucharist God himself "contained in a piece of bread.” These formulations are profoundly heretical.

It is true that the Bible calls the Eucharist “breaking of bread”, “bread of the angels” or “bread of heaven.” However, it is wrong to state that “Jesus becomes bread" - even a first year theology student knows this.

The heretical concept pronounced by Francis is called “impanation.” It denies transubstantiation and is usually explained with the wrong statement that “God has become bread.” Transsubstantiation is the changing of the bread’s substance into the substance of Christ's body effectuated by the consecration during Mass.

In addition, the Church cannot be identified with the Eucharist as Francis did.

It is necessary to clarify that the heresiarch Bergoglio is not a Catholic Pope who has fallen into heresy; but, he is a formal heretic who is obstinate in his heresies as professed while he lived in Argentina. The Magisterium of the Church says that if it is proven that the cardinals chose a heretic as pope; someone who was already a heretic prior to his elevation; this elevation is automatically null and void, without any validity or power, regardless of the obedience that has been given to the supposed pope.

BERGOGLIO´S HERETICAL PAST IS FRANCIS´ PRESENT

The grave error of many Catholics is to think that Bergoglio is above the Magisterium of the Church and to FALSELY BELIEVE that above the heresiarch Bergoglio there is no authority that can depose him; or, that a council or a future pope is required to declare him null.  The Magisterium IS THE authority that has declared null and void the elevation of a heretic to the papacy and people mistakenly think that one should only RESIST AND THEY DO NOT COMBAT HIM, BECAUSE THEY RECOGNIZE HIM AS A POPE.  THEY COME INTO CONTRADICTION BECAUSE THE RESISTANCE IS A NON-CATHOLIC CONCEPT BECAUSE IT REPRESENTS IN IT A SCHISM against a Pope. 

Just imagine that (apostate) cardinals chose a woman pope.  Under the same concept of resisting a heretic who was illegitimately elevated to the papacy; we would have to resist her when obviously neither a heretic nor a woman nor a child are qualified to be pope. So, their mistake is that they want to apply to a Heretic the rights of a Pope whom the heretic does NOT have . THE SERIOUS MISTAKE OF THEM IS TO PUT A HERITIC ABOVE THE Magisterium.

Bergoglio’s sermon for Corpus Christi did not just have the wrong emphasis, it was explicitly heretical. He said:

In the presence of the Eucharist, Jesus who becomes bread, this simple bread that contains the entire reality of the Church, let us learn to bless all that we have, to praise God, to bless and not curse all that has led us to this moment, and to speak words of encouragement to others.

…The Lord does great things with our littleness, as he did with the five loaves. He does not work spectacular miracles [!], but uses simple things, breaking bread in his hands, giving, distributing and sharing it. God’s omnipotence is lowly, made up of love alone. And love can accomplish great things with little. The Eucharist teaches us this: for there we find God himself contained in a piece of bread. Being simple and essential, bread broken and shared, the Eucharist we receive allows us to see things as God does.

This heresy was condemned at the Council of Trent in the 16th century:

If anyone denies that in the sacrament of the most holy Eucharist there are truly, really, and substantially contained the body and blood together with the soul and divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ, and therefore the whole Christ, but shall say that He is in it as by a sign or figure, or force, let him be anathema.

If anyone says that in the sacred and holy sacrament of the Eucharist there remains the substance of bread and wine together with the body and blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, and denies that wonderful and singular conversion of the whole substance of the bread into the body, and of the entire substance of the wine into the blood, the species of the bread and wine only remaining, a change which the Catholic Church most fittingly calls transubstantiation: let him be anathema.

en.news In Italy and the Vatican, Corpus Christi was celebrated on Sunday, June 23. But Francis showed up only at the end of the procession which was lead by his vicar for Rome, Cardinal Angelo de Donatis.

Although it was known from previous years and similar occasions, that Francis refuses to kneel in front of the Blessed Sacrament, a big kneeler was put in front of the altar where the monstrance was placed.

But Francis placed himself between the kneeler and the altar, ignoring the kneeler.

As always, he did not bend his knees before the Blessed Sacrament while he otherwise loves kneeling, especially in front of migrants, prisoners, homosexuals or politicians.

According to the USCCB website, the purpose of Peter's Pence Collection is to provide the Holy Father with the financial means to respond to those who are suffering as a result of war, oppression, natural disaster, and disease.

Surely, the persecuted Christians in Iraq, Egypt and Nigeria desperately deserve $500,000 to help them rebuild their devastated churches, schools, homes, and lives at the brutal hands of Islamic jihadists, do they not? After all, these innocent Catholics weren’t breaking the law when the violent jihadis terrorized their land, destroyed their Churches and raped their women.

What about the underground Catholic Church in China who are experiencing a massive destructive crackdown and demolition of their churches and lives by the Communist government? They could use $500,000 from Peter’s Pence to rebuild their places of worship.

Clearly, Catholics victims of the suicide bombings on Easter Sunday in Sri Lanka by Islamic terrorists would benefit greatly with $500,000 from Peter’s Pence, would they not?
Certainly, the funds from Peter’s Pence should be directed to the Catholic Church in the Middle East and Africa, after a genocidal year of unrelenting terrorism and Christian persecution by Boko Haram and other Islamic terrorists?

No, Francis is focusing on the Soros agenda, not the persecuted Catholics’ agenda. Recall that this is the Pope who said, “If I speak of Islamic violence, I must speak of Catholic violence.”
Francis shares the Soros view that “national borders are the obstacle.” The Pope incessantly interjects his view into American politics, by commenting about Trump’s wall as “those who build walls will become prisoners of the walls they put up” or intruding into the political campaign that politicians who promote a wall are “unchristian.”
The Vatican is no friend of America, what with the disturbing news that The Vatican appropriated $500,000 of Peter’s Pence funds to aid and abet lawbreakers on our southern border.

The man who sits safely and securely behind his 39-foot Vatican wall undermines American security by funding open borders.

By pouring monies into illegal migrant caravans, Pope Francis is facilitating the soaring crime rates of human trafficking, illegal drugs, criminal organizations, and exploitation of women and children, along with the organized participation and funding of George Soros and the United Nations. Central American immigrants from the MS-13 gangs are flowing over our porous border and wreaking havoc in our communities.
It’s noteworthy that American Catholics are the largest contributors to Peter’s Pence. It is time to shut off the financial spigot to this Vatican scheme to undermine the safety, security and sovereignty of Europe and the United States. Closing wallets to the Vatican, sends a message that American Catholics want the border closed and secure. Like the Pope, Americans deserve a wall to keep us safe.
On the last Sunday in June, the second collection basket will be passed for Peter’s Pence. Close your wallet.

The following year, the process for his formal dismissal from the Dominicans began.  He ended up being sentenced by the Master General in Rome to a period of prayer and reflection, along with an ordered visit to a psychiatric ward (which he refused). In 1991, after failed attempts by O'Connor to appeal his case to Rome, he was officially done with the Dominicans.

Father O'Connor finally left the order and lived with his sister until he died in 2006.

en.news Matt Abbott re-published on RenewAmerica.com (August 11) a twenty-year old article, originally published in the newsletter of the now-defunct group Roman Catholic Faithful. It tells the story of a now married woman called “Agnes” who in 1957 was allegedly raped by Father Joseph Bernardin (+1996) when she was 11 years old.
Agnes testified her story in a sworn deposition, in accounts to investigators, in affidavits submitted in support of others' cases, in direct statements to Bernardin, in phone calls and letters to Church officials, and in correspondence with the Vatican.

The alleged rape was part of a satanic ritual involving among others, then Charleston Bishop John Russell (+1993). Agnes was brought to the ritual by her abusive father. She first resisted Bishop Russell. Bernardin then showed kindness in order to gain her trust and then raped her. He then fed her a host in an attempt to make her swallow the “guilt of the event”.

Bishop John Joyce Russell (1897-1993) Bishop of Charleston (1950-1958) and then Richmond (1958-1973) was accused, along with card. Joseph Bernardin, by a woman with the pseudonym "Agnes", of sexual perversion against her, in a satanic rite, in Greenville in 1957.

In 1990 Agnes told her story to Malachi Martin who incorporated it in his novel Windswept House.

In 1992, Agnes passed a polygraph examination regarding the crime.

The article also mentions a former seminarian who stated that he had forced sexual contact with Bernardin and later received a cash settlement.

Under John Paul II, ultra-liberal Bernardin was the leading U.S. prelate who controlled the episcopal conference and the appointment of new bishops.
Vatican Secretary of State Pietro Parolin called him in July "the great Joseph Bernardin" who was a "great shepherd but then, above all, he suffered so much."

President Bill Clinton awarded him with the Presidential Medal of Freedom. His funeral mass was presided by his good friend, radical Cardinal Roger Mahony.
Bernardin was accounted for setting up the «Bernardin Machine» which controlled the U.S. Bishops’ Conference and almost all episcopal appointements.

The Bernardin ideology consists in not defending or preaching any Church teaching deemed "controversial" [by the oligarch media] and by using disciplinary measures almost exclusively in order to persecute faithful Catholic priests.

Abbott James Hitchcock wrote in an article published shortly after the cardinal's death that "[Bernardin] consistently used his influence to promote liberal causes, even attacks on Church teachings and traditions." Hitchcock went on to write: "He consistently used his power to build a network of allies within both the hierarchy and the bureaucracy, a network which in effect has controlled the direction of the 'American Church.'"

Bernardin received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from President Clinton and was honored, posthumously, by the Masons. He was a friend of Call To Action (CTA) and allowed them to operate on Church property. He even went so far as to speak out against [then] Bishop Fabian Bruskewitz for excommunicating CTA members in his own diocese. History has taught us that the cardinal usually came down on the liberal side of every issue, but what is his legacy? What about his faith?
