On 27 April, Leo XIV’s liturgical vestment designer, Filippo Sorcinelli, spoke to DailyMail.co.uk about the papal liturgical wardrobe.

Sorcinelli is a homosexual who uses imagery of sadomasochism in his work as a perfumer. He works with the Vatican's liturgical office to design vestments, not directly with Leo XIV.

He said that the Pope does not stage spectacles: "Each visual choice contributes to building a language of reliability, balance and quiet authority."

The means of communication are fabrics, colours and shapes. "Every detail is designed to support the Pope’s role, not draw attention away from it."

Leo XIV has leaned into classic papal tailoring, reinstating details such as cufflinks and structured vestments that emphasise form and precision.

Sorcinelli has never perceived a conflict between his faith and his vice: "I have never viewed faith and homosexuality as adversaries, but rather as a creative tension that fuels my work."

He added that his experience within the Church has been one of acceptance.

The list of sodomites is so extensive that it would be simpler to name those who are *not* sodomites; however, the problem with the latter is that they, too, remain silent and, in doing so, have become accomplices to the sodomites. That is to say, they are deserters who participate passively in the rebellion against God and against the Church.

By engaging in practices that cry out to Heaven for vengeance—and in complicity with Prevost—they maliciously commit the unforgivable sin: having received knowledge of the Gospel, they despise it and obstinately persist in sin, refusing to repent; in doing so, they trample upon the Blood of Christ and reject the Holy Spirit, whose function is to sanctify. Furthermore, they rebel against the Will of God, for the Bible clearly affirms that God's Will is that we turn away from all immorality and sanctify ourselves. Consequently, anyone who despises the Blood of Christ cannot obtain forgiveness, for he has rejected Christ as his Redeemer, and only eternal punishment awaits him.

Saint Paul warns that unrepentant homosexuals—or those who identify as such—bring condemnation upon themselves. Moreover, in the Book of Revelation, sodomites—as well as corrupt leaders who induce others into sin—are likened to "dogs," who are forbidden entry into the Kingdom of Heaven.
