Prevost’s idolatrous sect, ‘AOLA’, implemented Marxist Liberation theology

Pope Pius XI denounced the socialist system as a “threatening danger that seeks to overthrow the Christian social order,” which “rejects the wisdom of the Gospel and resurrects paganism.”

1 Corinthians 6:9-10 Do not be deceived! Fornicators, idolaters, adulterers, male prostitutes, sodomites (...)—none of these will inherit the kingdom of God.

Revelation 22:15 Outside are the dogs
(male prostitutes and unfaithful leaders), those who practice magic arts, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.
Galatians 5:19-21
The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; idolatry and witchcraft; (..), orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

The First Commandment of God
Lesson 16 from the Baltimore Cathechism
205How does a Catholic sin against faith? A Catholic sins against faith by apostasy, heresy, indifferentism, and by taking part in non-Catholic worship.

Prevost's AOLA invoked the Mayan gods and promoted the Marxists Leonardo Boff and Gustavo Gutiérrez.

Since its inception, AOLA has pursued a Marxist, anti-Catholic, and indigenist agenda.

The April 1986 Bulletin of the apostate and idolatrous Marxist sect AOLA—to which Robert Prevost belongs, and which promotes indigenous paganism through the "inculturation of the Gospel"—includes a prayer invoking Mayan gods: Tzacol, Bitol, Ixmucane, Ixpiyacoc, Grandmother of the Sun, Grandmother of Light, etc.

Appearing in the newsletter, among others, is the name of Joaquín García—The apostate priest who celebrated the sacrilegious Mass during which, together with Prevost, they worshipped Pachamama.
 Joaquín García Sánchez (from Spain).

St. Augustine of Hippo: Those whom the apostle reproved knew but did not give thanks and, claiming to be wise, actually became fools and fell into idolatry.
Sodomites are idolaters.

Saint Thomas Aquinas commenting on Romans 1:

(Rm 6,23): The wages of sin is death. All their idols will be burned in the fire ((Micah 1,7). And it is noteworthy that the Apostle very reasonably assigns to vices against naturewhich are very serious among carnal sins, the punishment of idolatry (...)

Sins that violate the First Commandment are superstition, idolatry, witchcraft, sacrilege, atheism, and tempting God.

The First Commandment of God is transgressed:
By opposing religion.
By worshipping idols.
By superstitions.
By invoking spirits.

This apostate sect, which continues to identify itself as Augustinian, has maliciously exploited Saint Augustine to promote its distorted Marxist agenda.

"Recognition of the Value of Indigenous Peoples"

“The Augustinian community aims at the evangelization of cultures, which entails the inculturation of the Gospel and human promotion.

Do not attempt to supplant the customs of those peoples with European ones; on the contrary, strive to adapt to them.
Robert Prevost: “All the things we are hearing today with the talk about synodality, we were already doing in Chulucanas in the 1980s, moving forward, so it was all very natural for me”

The Word of God prohibits the apostate “inculturation of the Gospel,” which violates the First Commandment through the sin of idolatry by promoting indigenous pagan practices.
Since the Old Testament, God has forbidden His people from mingling with pagans and worshipping their gods.

 Joshua 23:6-7
Be most courageous, and be careful to observe everything that is written in the Book of the Law of Moses. Do not turn away from it to the right or the left. Avoid associating with these nations that still remain among you. Do not mention the names of their gods; do not swear by them. Do not serve them; do not worship them.

Sins against faith:

Apostasy: This is the complete abandonment of the Christian faith received in baptism; for example, Catholics who change religions or those who, without formally changing religions, have completely distanced themselves from the Catholic faith, falling into rationalism, pantheismMarxism, Freemasony etc.

In the August 1986 bulletin of the apostate Marxist sect AOLA, the heretical writings of the Marxists Leonardo Boff and Gustavo Gutiérrez are recommended.

A book by Clodovis Boff from the perspective of liberation.

Furthermore, we have the testimony of the apostate Arthur Purcaro —an active member of this sect—who has stated that they taught the heretical, Marxist Liberation Theology from Chicago.

Arthur Purcaro: Chulucanas Peru from 1971 till 2015

The apostate Marxist Arturo Purcaro teaches the Marxist ideology of Gustavo Gutiérrez at Villanova University.

Arthur Purcaro: "
Gutiérrez was a personal friend of mine; I invited him to Chulucanas to accompany us on our journey and to keep alive the "preferential option for the poor"—which, at Puebla, was recognized as a distinct pastoral choice. His thought—beginning with his book *A Theology of Liberation*—came under scrutiny, even in the United States; yet, when I was teaching in Chicago, I offered courses on this theological perspective, and the classroom was always.

"The Earth is crucified; it must be taken down from the Cross, it must be resurrected—and that is the task of an eco-theology of liberation." —Apostate ex-priest Leonardo Boff

Juan Lydon, was Secretary General of the Conocoto of OALA
Lydon worked as the Director of the Mother Cabrini Institute on Immigration at Villanova University, where he graduated alongside Prevost in 1977.

Now living in Chicago, Lydon serves as the head of the Augustinians’ North American house of formation in Hyde Park. He was interviewed by left-wing outlet Focolare Media in February 2026.

“Building communities in the diversity of its members is at the heart of the Augustinian ideal,” he said. “I suspect that this will be an important part of the perspective [Prevost] brings to the papacy, namely, working in a divided world for unity in diversity.”

The National Catholic Reporter previously reported that Lydon lived with Prevost at the Augustinians’ house of formation in Trujillo, Peru from 1990 until 1999.

Marxist Augustinian Paulo Gabriel López Blanco was one of the members of the Board of Directors of the Conocoto meetings:

“Leo XIV is a great admirer of Casaldàliga, as was Francis”

“Leo XIV is a great admirer of Casaldáliga and of Romero, Hélder Câmara, Proaño, or Larraín.

Apostasy from the Faith is defined as “the complete and voluntary abandonment of the Christian religion, whether the apostate embraces another religion such as Paganism, Judaism, Mohammedanism, etc., or merely makes profession of Naturalism, Rationalism, etc.” (Catholic Encyclopedias.v. “Apostasy”).

«Also, let us not forget that, as the pontiff himself has said, his theological mentor was Lucio Gera and his “theology of the people”, according to which the people” are not subject to being evangelized but subject to evangelize. It is understood in this way, beyond the undeniable populist eagerness, that Bergoglio's first gesture to look at the fateful Vatican loggia 13/3/13 has been to ask for the blessing of the people. And that also explains why he ordered a survey of the people to know his opinion about the family and other questions of sexual morality. The people teach. »

Warnings against False Teachers
1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit has clearly said that, in the end times, some persons will depart from the faith, paying attention to spirits of error and the doctrines of devils.
