en.news Trieste Bishop Giampaolo Crepaldi, Italy, proclaimed on March 19 the truism that a good nature, free from contamination and catastrophes, doesn't exist.
He called the concept of "Mother Earth" (Pachamama), endowed with its own "harmonious equilibrium" with whom man must connect, "an absurdity.”
Crepaldi hopes that the coronavirus "will do away" with this idea which Francis expresses verbatim in Querida Amazonia.
“Nature must be governed by man," Crepaldi insists calling the postmodern pantheistic ideologies "inhuman.”
He predicts that the coronavirus will kill the European Union as the member States close down, and selfishness, rather than cooperation, reigns between them,
“The coronavirus has demonstrated the artificial nature of the European Union.”
Italian bishop links Coronavirus to society’s ‘immoral drifts’
'Often, natural misfortunes are not entirely natural, but have behind them man's morally disordered attitudes.'
