en.news Francis preached on May 14 that his inter-religious Abu Dhabi “Higher Committee of Human Fraternity” considers May 14 “a day of prayer, fasting, to ask God for mercy in this tragic time of the Covid-19 pandemic.”
He acknowledged that Catholics consider inter-religious "prayers" as "religious relativism."
“But why can't we pray to the Father of us all?” - he objects. He answered that everybody prays "as they can" - as if somebody had denied this. He added that "we aren't praying against each other" - as if anybody had claimed this.
For him, "we all are united as human beings in praying to God, according to what we believe.”
Francis is wrong: Prayer to God is no a human work based on what "we believe," but it comes only about "through Our Lord Jesus Christ" who is the only way to the Father (John 14:6).
